I recently ordered a double towel bar and matching toilet paper roll holder online after not finding what I wanted at the store.

The web site was very easy to navigate. I like the feature of being able to narrow my search by certain criteria (chrome or manufacturer etc). I also like the compare products feature.

The prices were comparable and even less than many other online retailers. I was not looking for a high end expensive piece...just something simple for the extra bath.

Shipping was free, can't get much better than that.

I was most pleased with the speed of the delivery...2 days from when I made the purchase to when it showed up at my doorstep. The box was intact with no signs of damage. The contents were exactly as I had ordered.

This was a very positive online transaction and based on this one purchase (my first with homedepot.com) I would not hesitate to order again. I shop the store frequently so I have never had a reason to order from them online. In the future I will not worry so much if they do not have what I need in the store...I can check online.

Another positive thing about homedepot.com is that the selection online is sometimes better than the store. I had three choices online rather than just one in the store. The selection is not as good as some other online retailers, but it seemed the stores that had a big selection also had higher prices, a lot higher.

Overall a great experience.
