They don't build houses, but they do help you build your home! That is Home Depot for you. If you are a novice with home improvements and are looking for help, then here is a store that can help you in every possible way. At the Home Depot website you can shop over 30,000 products ranging from Appliances to Building Supplies to Home Decor. Each of the products is categorized very well making navigation through the site easy.

This shop is not one where you often find boards saying "Clearance" or "Over 80% off". But, this is one shop where you can rest assured about the quality of the products you buy. They sell various brands of the same item leaving the customer with lots to choose from. At the end, you get what you pay for.

The Home Depot website does not only cater to its normal customers but also to its Business Customers. There are separate links for contractors and for Government customers. There is a link to The Home Depot Business ToolBox, which mainly provides business solutions to its partners.

The unique feature and undoubtedly the most useful part of their website is the "Know-How" section, which gives you step by step instructions for various Home Improvement Projects. Be it building a deck or installing cabinet doors in your kitchen, you will find help there.

They accept all major credit cards and their shipping and packaging is satisfactory. One annoying thing about them is the LONG wait you would have when you call their customer service. I once called their customer service about a question I had about one of the coupons. After a long wait, one of the persons finally answered my call and I explained my problem to him. He listened to it and said "Just hold on please" and for the next 10 min, I had no signs of him. Then suddenly another person answered my call and I had to explain the whole thing to him again. He again put me on hold and finally got back after another 10 min and said that he had to talk to his manager regarding the problem and also promised to call me the next day after talking to the manager. I haven't heard back from him since then. Only if their customer service was a little better, then this would be the perfect store. Afterall, it has all the other features to be the best!
