I ordered a hot water dispenser from Home Depot Online store. The item was back ordered. When I received the package, it was not what I ordered. They sent me a brass spigot for some other item..not the dispenser I ordered. I
called them, and after getting the run around and being put on hold forever,I was told the return process and my credit card refund would take about 3 weeks. I was so upset that I cancelled my order. I did send the item back through UPS as advised and checked on line to see if Home Depot received it. They had last week. When I called back to check on when my refund would be processed, I was put on hold for over half an hour. I hung up, called back and was told my refund would be 30 to 45 days. That is absurd. The girl told me to pay it and I would receive a credit. I was really upset. I asked her if she would like to pay for something she didn't have. Upon talking to the supervisor, she said that they are really backed up and that's the best they can do......Oh, by the way, they won't pay for any interest accrued by the item............Funny how they credit your card IMMEDIATELY when you buy something!!!
