The item purchased was a wide screen tv stand.  It was unusual, very unique carvings and made of wood.  The price of the item was $144.99 the cost for shipping was $143.00, but I still felt that I was getting a good deal since the original price was $499.00.  The item was shipped VIA a company called Seko who inturn sent the item by a company called Century Carriers.  Century Carriers called to scheduled a delivery.  I was given a date and told to call back after 7:00 P.M. to get a time window.  As I listened to the recording I taught I heard 2 - 6 p.m. but I was told that I mis-understood and that the time was 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and that I refused delivery because I was not there when the delivery van came.  I got home about 1:45p.m. The bottom line is that I missed the delivery and was charged an additional 101.33 to have the item redelivered and I was told that if I refused the delivery charge and returned the item I  would be charged 25% of the total cost of the item.  Don't buy from Home Decorators its not worth it.  Items are over priced and the shipping and handling is too much.  You will be better off going to local store it would cost less and you will be able to see what you are getting.
