Worst. Customer. Service. Ever.  Sure, pricing is great, but if you ever need to call in, you will get the--excuse my language--b!tchiest receptionist who will not treat you well at all.  I called in about an order that was cancelled without my knowledge and the receptionist just blew up on me.  I wished the call was recorded for quality assurance, because I want that lady fired!  If you're lucky to receive your order on time and are happy with it, you may never have to deal with customer service... but if you're unlucky like me, you're in for hell.

The running clothes I ordered arrived on-time and fit well.  Good prices also.  I never received an e-mail confirmation that my order was received or shipped.  However, I was able to track the order through their website.  This was my first order and was overall a good experience.

I had a wonderful shopping experience with Holabird.  Their prices are excellent, and the shipping was fast.  I was concerned because I had my item shipped to my office, not my billing address, but I sent them an email as a heads-up and there was no problem with that at all.  I just completed my second purchase with them, and I'm sure it won't be my last.

Stay away. Holabird denies ever receiving my returned merchandise. I shipped to them and believe I received shipping confirmation from USPS, but I could not produce the proof to them (I lost it). I'm out $50 and will never buy from Holabird again. Customer service was bad even before the return issue arose - 'gruff' is the word that comes to mind. Ordering was tiresome. Buyer beware.

These people don't seem to reply to inquiry to their customer service email. I wrote to them to inquire on an order that I plan to do with them and didn't receive a single reply. Resend the mail the 2nd time; still no response.  Their price may be good, but if you ever have problem with your order or need to inquire on something, good luck!

I'm sure this vendor is fine if they get things right the first time - the prices are good and the shipping is timely. In my case, they got it wrong - sent the wrong color product, which didn't work for me because it was for a team that needed the color I ordered. When I complained, they verified that I had ordered the correct color number, and they had sent the wrong one... so they sent out (and billed me for) another set of items - which turned out to be identically wrong. I sent back both orders, and so far have been credited for only one. Apparently they're not able to count the number of items they sent and I returned, and since they didn't give me a new order number the second time, they can't find a separate record of the second identical charge in order to credit it. Now I may need to go the credit card dispute route in order to get my money back - and I never did get the product I wanted in the first place. So much for the good price...

I had a problem with a shoe that I've been wearing for years and the sizing changed. Road Runner Sports indicated this information in their catalog description of the shoe but Holabird Sports did not. A,s a result, I ordered the exact same size shoe and I've worn for years only to realize after I ran in the shoe that it was larger. I've been a long time customer of Holabird Sports. I called Holabird and spoke with the supervisor who was not willing to offer customer service in this regard. Not only did she provide absolutely no customer service or support, but she was belligerent and rude. I will never order shoes again from Holabird Sports! I now have a $135 pair of running shoes that I'm unable to wear.

Holabird provides no customer service as they don't honor the New Balance warranty on the shoes they sell. They don't stand behind the product they sell. I would not recommend you do business with Holabird Sports.

I can imagine for most people Holabird does fine. But these guys are not a world-class Internet Retailer. The reason is they have no real-time stock information. You can order something and have no idea if it is in stock or not. For at operation this big, this is an embarassment. Instead a day later I get a PHONE CALL that the item is out of stock. I also DID NOT GET AN E-MAIL ORDER CONFIRMATION. I found it at another retailer that actually tells you if it is in stock or not BEFORE. I'm sure on most items they have it in stock, not all, and I'm sure most people don't care if they get their order in 4 days or 7 days, but for the rest of us, these guys SUCK.

Its been years since I bought from Holabird.In my youth I always found it a pleasant experience, but I bought some rackets from them recently and boy times have changed. I found customer service to be snippy and unpleasant, I received the rackets in a makeshift trash bag with a piece of cardboard holding them together.I wont do business with them again, stick to Tennis Warehouse, they blow them away.

Ordered a tennis shoe through Holabird. The item was exactly as described, fast shipping, and packaged very well. Will do business with this reseller again. Highly recommended. Only delivers to address listed with credit card which was somewhat of a hassle, but otherwise very good merchant.

This was the first time I ordered from this store, so I don't know if my experience was typical or not. I checked their website to see where my order was 5 days after placing it. I wasn't able to find out there. So I called the company (not a toll-free number) and after several minutes of holding, was told that the items had been out of stock, but they got a fresh shipment in today and my order would be going out today. If that's the case I would have expected two things. First, an email telling me the items were out of stock. Second, maybe an offer of next day delivery at no extra charge.

I have been doing business with Holabird Sports for 15 years. I am a very good customer and have had no problems, until recently. Their handling of the situation, which they admitted was their fault (a computer glitch), was one of the worst examples of customer service I have ever seen. The operator was snippy and rude, as was her supervisor, Debbie, who was also patronizing and insulting. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH HOLABIRD SPORTS AGAIN NO MATTER HOW LOW THEIR PRICES!!!!!!!!!!!! They do not value their customers.

I ordered a shoe on Sunday, then got an email on Tuesday that the shoe was "discontinued". They offered me 10% off another shoe, but there's no way I'm wasting my time ordering some other product that they may or may not have. Did it take them a full day to realize they didn't even have the shoe? And if you want to sell stuff online, you need to have an accurate inventory. It makes no sense to try to sell stuff you don't have.

I recommend that no one else order from them...try Zappos or something more reliable. I certainly am going back to Zappos instead of trying Holabird again.

My initial order of (2)pairs of shoes arrived with one mislabeled by the manufacturer. I called customer service, recieved an RA number, returned the incorrect pair of shoes and received a new pair. Quick and painless. Will order form Holabird again.

I must admit I was hesitant, at first, to order from this site but not only was the price the best, the merchandise arrived in excellent condition. I will probably place the same order in another month or so again as styles change, etc. and this NB model fits my foot the best!
