After the debacle I had with Body Moose Online Store, I went searching for another online store that sold squalane (a natural moisturizing oil) for a good price. Prices range so much for the same thing and I wanted to find the lowest price I could.

Herspro.com had the lowest price that I could find. I took a chance and made an order. It went perfectly.

The site is pretty busy with loads of information, links, and products but they have a good search engine and you can browse by product, category, brands, herbs, or vitamins. They also have informative articles and health tools that you can access from the home page.

When you find the product you are interested in, you'll see a photo of the product and very detailed explanation of what the product is, what it does, and dosing or usage instructions. The price is very clearly marked and they offer discounts for consumers buying four, eight or twelve of one item. I used the discount to buy four bottles of squalane.

When you add to your cart, you can input your zip code to see your various shipping options and charges. You will also see what other people who bought the product you're buying also bought. A little but of an upsell there but very subtle.

When you're finished shopping, you will go to the checkout and, if you haven't already, input your zip code and choose which shipping method/cost is right for you. The shipping charges for smaller orders can be a little steep but, if you order more, you will get shipping credits and even free shipping.

You need to fill out the usual information and choose your payment method - Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, Discover Card, or PayPal. You can call or fax them as well if you don't want to send your credit card details over the net.

Pay by one of the credit cards and you're all set You'll receive a confirmation email and a shipping one. Orders should arrive quickly.

Shipping charges are as follows. The minimum charge is $5.95. You get free shipping for orders weighing less than 3 lbs (packed weight) and costing over $89.00. For orders weighing over 3 lbs (packed weight) and costing over $89.00, an amount of $5.95 is credited to the actual shipping charges at the time of checkout. Below $89.00, charges are based on your total order and will show up when you input your zip code at any time. Check the site for international shipping fees.

Returned products must be unopened and sealed, unless defective. They must be returned within seven days. A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. After seven days, no returned products will be credited.

My Experience

My search turned up Herbspro.com as a low priced seller of the squalane I wanted. I didn't even go through the search process on the site, I clicked straight to the product. I saw that if I bought four bottles, I would get a substantial discount and, for the low price that Herbsro.com was selling the oil for, I decided to go for four bottles and save some more money. My shipping cost was the minimum, $5.95, but even with that shipping charge, my products were much lower priced than on other websites.

I registered with the site and paid with PayPal. I received a confirmation email and a notice of shipping a day later. My order arrived in two days, nicely packaged with a brochure and some other literature. I got what I wanted at a price I wanted to pay. No complaints.

Conclusion

Herbspro.com treated me right. I was worried about my order considering the bad experience I had with Big Moose Online Store. I questioned whether I should order from a site I never heard of before. But it all went well. The site has some sort of cash back awards for shoppers and apparently I have a few bucks in my account. I honestly don't know when I will go back to the site since I have so much squalane that it will last for months but I will go back if I have a need. 4 stars.
