I was asked to write a review here to reflect my experience with this company. I must say, it started off quite bad, but had a pretty good outcome. I ordered a Chicco Playard for my cousins baby shower. She was quite specific on the color of the item, which has to be Iceberg. I ordered the item online, which I guess was pretty easy. The day after placing the order, I was contacted by phone, and was told that the item was not available for 2 weeks. I was a bit concerned, but I asked them to hold the order for me.

About a week ago (almost 2 weeks to the day) someone contacted me and I was told that the item would no longer be coming back into stock, and had been discontinued! I couldnt believe that I had to wait 2 weeks just to find that out. The customer service rep apologized, and offered another color at a discounted price. He then upgraded my shipping at no additional charge to me.

I have to say, they did make a good situation out of a bad one. When I told my cousin what happened with the color, she told me that she had been told the same thing by several other stores, and had put it on her registry in the hope one of us could find one. Hmph. At least what I was told from customer service was the truth.

I was surprised when I was asked to share my experience with others. While speaking to the representitive, I was told that they have recently changed personal, and were trying to rebuild their reputation. They could have left the price and shipping the same, or just never called, but were as forthcoming as you could expect.
