I am a very big shopper when it comes to shopping for greeting card. I send cards to my friends and family for almost every occasion. I have purchased many hallmark paper cards and other items from store and loved it.
So, when I was looking for perfect cards for my friends this valentines day, I decided to use Hallmark.com, instead of other regular site. I thought it would seem more thoughtful if it came from Hallmark, instead of regular card sites.
I started going through all the cards. First of all it only displayed about three pages of valentine's day card. Some of them were very bad or at least not good qualities according to me. After I chose the card and went through the whole process, it said it would take them 24 hours to notify me, if the card was sent or not or I didn't make a mistake of sending to wrong address or anything. This I thought was not a good service, since most of the online cards notify within few seconds with all the information.
After that was done, few minutes later I tried to send another card. Guess what? Server Busy!!! HELLOOOOO!!! it's valentine's day!!! people don't want to wait hours to create or open the card. That's why they use online cards and not go to regular store.
That was not the worse part. The first card that I sent to my friends, it sent it to her about four times instead of one. I thought why did bother using this site, when I could've used any other service.
No doubt, I love hallmark cards. They're perfect for each occasion, but I will never send ecard from hallmark.com
