I ordered a book from half.com, paid for it by credit card and never got it. I tried to file a claim and it brought me back to the "contact seller" page every time. I tried to contact the seller but he’s no longer registered. I tried emailing customer service several times and I got the same "form" email saying to contact the seller. I tried calling the half.com number on my credit card and got a recording saying to contact customer service by email. I went around in circles and am still attempting to file a claim everyday. It has to be so many days after the original purchase but less than 60 days so it gives you a very small window to work with in filing a claim.
I can’t get a refund on an item I never received and had no support from customer service. I wonder how many other people get ripped off on a daily basis and get the run around like I am. How can scam artists get away with taking peoples money and then closing there accounts so they never have to answer to anyone?
I will never purchase anything from half.com again! This site is a nightmare and ruins it for all the honest people trying to buy and sell books.
