EBay's Half.com is an incredible asset to bargain text book shoppers! It's the only true rival to Amazon.com.

As a college student, I am always trying to find my expensive text books for cheaper than the school bookstore. Unfortunately, I only found out about Half.com last year. I wish I knew about it sooner, because the site has saved me hundreds on text books. Oftentimes, the cheapest of a particular book on Half.com is less expensive even than on Amazon.com. And always, Half.com's texts books are at least 30% off the retail price. This is true even for brand new editions.

Half.com is an incredibly user-friendly. Simply type the title, author, and edition into the search box, and results will appear. Upon selecting your book, you will be directed to a page that lists all the books available starting with the lowest price. Something important to note here, the LOWEST price doesn't show up in the list, it is on the top of the page, right under the title. It will sneak by you if you aren't looking for it. I'm not sure if this is intentional, or a fluke.

Books labeled as new or like-new are just that, and have never even been opened. Like Amazon.com and eBay.com, you are not buying from a retailer, but from independent sellers. So, results may..... vary. But, seller feedback ratings can be checked prior to purchase. Finally, payment can quickly and conveniently be made via Paypal.
