Purchased a latex mattress from Habitat Futons April 2008. Habitat futons kept in contact with us via email with status updates pending the shipping of the mattress, and it arrived right on schedule along with the 2 free pillows. Everything was exactly as advertised, and the bed is very comfortable. We're happy with both the bed and the service.

All went just fine, the only thing that did not impress me was the cardboard box. Seems to me the video made a point of stating the box was quality and substantial. Not so, the box was torn and in bad shape upon arrival. The product was not harmed. All in all a good expierence. Still trying to get adjusted to the mattress and the prefered setting.

We did not want to deal with the dreaded "Mattress Salesperson" for the reasons you all know.

We looked into that popular TV brand on line and were appalled at the price. With a little more searching we found Habitat and after reading the informative web site, watching the videos and most of all, reading these user reviews we purchased a king sized air bed over the Internet.

Even with a 3 day holiday weekend, delivery was within the 10 days promised. Set up was as easy as described and the bed is quite comfortable. It is an excellent replacement for our soft sided water bed that had developed a leak.

I ordered specially sized sheets for a futon mattress. They were sized OK but I didn't seem to be the color/style I ordered and was never informed about the substitution. I sent an email to inquire and got an automated acknowledgement but no response. I tried to telephone them, but only got voicemail. You can't contact this company. Sheets seem good, but take your chances on customer service. I won't risk it again.

The wrong model mattress was initially shipped, but Habitat quickly arranged for a pick-up of that item while immediately taking action to send the correct item. Mistakes happen, and their willingness to fix and quick response in making the correction gives evidence to their concern for customer care and good relationships.

Very satisfied with the product. It actually arrived sooner than expected and was easy to set up. Took one night to find the comfort spot and haven't changed the air pressure since. We can discard the packing material because its a keeper.

I'd recommend Habitat. Dean provided excellent customer service, showing patience and professionalism. The mattress was delivered before the promised date. Habitat offers various incentives to buy from them, but those pale in comparison to the service. I could have purchased the mattress from one of two stores locally, but I chose to order it from Habitat based on the service and professional attention I got. They respond to email quickly and honestly.

Delivery was on time. I received exactly what I wanted. Had a problem with the mattress construction, but they acknowledged it and replaced it without hesitation. Would I purchase from them again? Absolutely! Would I recommend them for sales? Absolutely! In addition, everything they said about the latex mattress held true. Since I have been sleeping on it, no matter in what position, I have not had any lower back issues whatsoever. It is truly the experience that they advertise.

Very prompt. We received the wrong size pillows, which were offerred as a free gift. We called and they immediately shipped out the correct size AND told us to keep the wrong ones as a token of their appreciation. Real personal service is rare these days.

I am finding the mattress to be very comfortable, but sinking into it doesn't allow me to move very well. Will try to see if positioning will help that. I am using it on an adjustable bed so this might contribute to the lack of positioning change problems. Otherwise I am sleeping very soundly which hadn't been something I could do on a regular mattress.

These folks have customer service down to an absolute art! The online video was great...order process easy...tracking of shipment great...AND we LOVE our new mattress...it's soooo comfortable and we enjoy knowing we have a better quality bed than the $6500.00 one we almost purchased! When our daughter gets married, we plan to give them an air mattress system for a wedding present! Love our American free enterprise system!!!

Very nice customer service. They sent a sample of the latex used in the bedding and a sample of the cover for it. They were out of the mattress cover and left me a phone message saying that it had been delayed. I received it 2 days after receiving the mattress. Everything was packed very well and not damaged.
