Contacting Habitat Futons for our Tempur-Pedic mattress was the best decision we've made. Once we decided to purchase a tempur-pedic mattress, I began checking out prices. There is only one merchant in our area (Savannah, GA) that carries them. The price scared us away. I then did a Google search and from all of the merchants that I browsed I requested price information from Habitat Futons. At first I could not believe the price difference. In fact, I waited a month and requested the information again. The prices had not changed. I read all the information they had on their web site and increased my knowledge. I still had doubts. It had been almost 20 years since we purchased a new mattress and we were having sticker shock. We went back to our local merchant and tried out all the styles (in fact we back several times). We even asked for their best price and it was no where close to Habitat's. After 2 months, we finally felt we were ready to buy. I called Habitat and I spoke with Marc. I got a lot more information and I placed an order on the spot. Marc really knows the tempur-pedic! He told me exactly what to expect and gave me time frames for delivery. I received pillows and a mattress cover within literally days! The freight company that delivered the mattress was great. They called, they showed up when promised and all went well. We have told friends how good the tempur-pedic is and about our excellent experience purchasing from Habitat. We have given a friend the web address. When we purchased the mattress, I was having some serious shoulder problems. It took me about a month to adjust to the mattress. My shoulder no longer bothers me when I lie down. My husband adjusted within a week. We purchased the classic. It is firm and it forms to your body. I used to wake up at least 2 times during the night, I now sleep until the alarm goes off. The pillows Marc recommended are perfect. We used to sleep with 2 pillows. The tempur-pedic pillows are really comfortable. From the incentives offered, we saved enough to be able to afford a new bed. We downsized from a cal-king to a queen. We really are able to get a good nights rest on the new mattress.
