I found Habitat Futons on the web while searching for the best price on a Tempur-pedic mattress. As stated on this site, all prices are set, but certain distributors will add items to make it a better deal. I found this with HabitatFuton. They included free shipping, 2 memory foam pillows and a really great mattress cover.

Everything arrived within the stated delivery time and Marc at Habitat Futon was able to answer every question I had without giving me any sales pressure. I even took a few days to think about it and never felt like this was one of those "must buy now, supplies limited" deals.

After 30 days or so, I loved the mattress. We bought the mid-grade one, deluxe I believe and it was great. Unfortunately, my wife disagreed. It was too firm for her and made her chronic back pain worse. I called Marc, he told me to package it up and call when it was ready at the door. I will advise anyone to carefully open the original box, as it took me about 2 rolls of packing tape for me to secure this thing. I called Marc back, and the delivery truck was to me within 3 days.

The mattress was received and I was credited the full amount (minus the $150 return shipping fee). On my last conversation with Marc I commended him on his customer service. I was treated as well during the return phase as I was on my initial call.

Despite having to return the mattress, I can honestly say this company was friendly, honest and easy to deal with. I recommend the mattress, and I wish all companies were this great.

I had no prior experience with Marc or Habitat Futon and I live over 1200 miles away. This is truly a statement from just a satisfied consumer.
