Ordered two mens' sport/dress jackets b/c they were on sale at a good price (if the descriptions were accurate they would be, I should say). Order went through, the package arrived in just over a week. The jackets are not top quality, sure, but seem well made as far as they go. Construction seems fine; just about what I was expecting in fact (one jacket runs a bit larger than the other and both are size L, but they appear to be from different makers so that's common).

I would take issue with the packaging: it's just a big white plastic bag, tough but not that tough. The clothing inside COULD have been damaged if the bag had been torn. Luckily mine was not. Since I had no issues with the transaction I've had no contact with customer service, so I can't speak on that. The only thing I need to do now is keep an eye on the credit card bill to make sure all is well there. If it is, I may darn well order from them again. So yeah, Haband offers inexpensive goods and the only way they can do that is by offering INEXPENSIVE GOODS. If you know that going in (and how could you not, at those prices? what were some of you reviewers really expecting?) you should come out OK. I have so far. If an item is not to your satisfaction, it appears they'll try to make good on it (again, that's my story so far...the mileage others have gotten apparently varies).

UPDATE: Still cautiously impressed. Decided to exchange the size L jackets for size M, but I thought I'd lost the packing slip required to do the exchange. I emailed Haband and asked what to do in case I can't find it. Got a polite response very quickly giving me all the info I'd need to do it. I do not think it was a computer generated autoreply; it was very relevant and responsive to what I actually wrote, providing me with all my personal information re: the order. They also invited to write back with whatever further help I might need. Later I did find the slip, so now all I have to do is return the item per instructions on the site. Since that will seal or break this deal, I'll update this review once the exchange takes place (or doesn't). But so far, I've gotten much worse service elsewhere on line! Fingers crossed... :)

FINAL UPDATE:

Exchange arrived week of the 4th of July...about 3 weeks turnaround time on the exchange, which is fine since I was in no hurry. Both the medium jackets fit better than the large ones, and I'm happy with them. So that's the end of my story - I'll still be picky but I'll probably order from Haband again.

It occurs to me that Haband may have read the older negative reviews here, and those like them elsewhere, and so really kicked their customer service folks into high gear. Or they just decided to do it on their own. Either way, I can honestly say that this whole transaction, start to finish, has gone without a hitch. And no double-billing has been noted on my CC bill (I'll keep watching)! Thanks for reading.
