Customer Service at HSN is sorely lacking. Customer Service supervisors are rude and not at all professional. Even when presented with clear evidence of error on their part, HSN will not take responsibility. It takes many, many phone calls to get any errors made by HSN corrected, if they are corrected at all. Promises made by HSN are not kept. They seem to forget that customers ARE their business. I will be contacting HSN corporate, but do not expect to get any further than I did with customer service.

very poor customer service! Sales people hype everything, often misrepresent then customer service fails to stand behind the on-air description. Many of their products are definitely inferior and barely outlast the 30 days. But, you'd better not want to exchange or return something for poor quality after the 30 days, for they work under the idea that "the customer is always wrong." If you must shop on-air, shop QVC they will exchange, refund, etc. even after 30 days if the product is defective. They are a quality outfit and their sales staff far superior - honest, direct, responsible.

I have had so many problems here I wouldn't have time to list them all. Orders incomplete, wrong items received, items never delivered, things broken, credit cards held hostage for over a month, phone calls asking about orders placed months ago. A family member who is on my card was denied a purchase because 2 people can't use the same card. It goes on and on... I can't recommend it as a pleasant experience. I have finally learned my lesson. No more.

Incredibly poor service. I placed an order on 12/2, kept my eye on the tracking link, no information available. Called customer service, they told me I needed to contact UPS. Contacted UPS, they had not received the shipment yet from HSN. Called customer service AGAIN....found out the manufacturer had not confirmed to HSN that the item was in stock. So, no shipment, no Christmas present for my daughter. I got the complete run-around from HSN. I will NEVER order from them again.

HORRIBLE! I was told shipment was in process and will be delivered around 12/11. On 12/12, I was told it has not been processed and no guarantee for Xmas. In fact, no way for Xmas. The supervisor says I cannot cancel my order unless it is within 24 hours of ordering. So, no ship date, no idea of ship date and no cancellations. Unbelievable...Upon looking at their website, there are no instructions to cancel an order. I will tell everyone I know that they are a scam! You've been warned!

I have shopped HSN for about 10 years now. My experiences with them have been fine. Once, about 5 years ago, I ordered a pair of earrings which I never received. When I called customer service they said they had been sent out sometime ago. Bottom line, they gladly offered to send me another pair or credit my account. Now that is customer service.

HSN don't really stand behind their products. I bought Ultrex II pans, and the lids fell apart in the first year. When I called HSN, I was told they had nothing to do with it...call the manufacturer. I eventually got through to the manufacturer, after weeks of trying and was told the lids aren't warrantied, only the finish on the pans. This made the pan tough to use, since I now didn't have a lid to fit it. I would use it for soups and stews after that, mainly just to warm things up. About a year after that, the finish started sloughing off. I contacted the manufacturer again, and was told where to mail the pan for replacement. After about 3 mos. I received the lid back, unrepaired, and about a month after that I received a new pan which was nothing like the one I sent back. HSN has poor products, and then blames the manufacturer if you have a problem. They should stand behind what they sell.

I have been ordering from HSN for awhile now, everything from jewelry, cookware, small appliances, to everyday home items and musical instruments. I have never had a problem receiving an item, it has always arrived earlier than expected and in excellent condition. I do my ordering online, and I receive an order confirmation, and shipping estimates in a timely manner. Customer service has always been helpful when I have had a question. People complain about customer service, but in any situation if you go in with an attitude and treat people negatively then you are probably going to get that back. I love shopping at HSN and have nothing but good things to say about them

Shop anywhere but with HSN. This company is not accountable for their mistakes. It is now clear to me why QVC reigns supreme over HSN. My first and LAST purchase with this company was for a ProForm GL 35 bike. HSN began this ghastly experience by billing me $200 and sending me a $20 item. When I informed them about their error they told me that they would not send me my actual order until they received their "mistake" at their warehouse. Meaning that it was going to take upwards of 25 days to receive my order. I canceled my order and icing on the cake, they told me that I would be responsible for shipping the "mistake" back to them. They would pay for the shipping but, I would have to take time out of my busy workday to find a UPS store to ship the "mistake" back to them.(wasting precious GAS in the process!) Bottom line, NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Plus, there was terrible and incompetent customer service.

Never trust them since they sell Innova products (Ultrex) which is a company that has recalled exploding fry pans and other products that frequently break, malfunction and Innova doesn't honor their warranties. HSN could care less about doing business with such a partner.

Twice I bought something from HSN and sent a check. The first time, I never received the item, and when I called customer service, I found that they had cancelled my order on their own. I requested a refund and did receive it, but I had wanted the merchandise (that's why I ordered it in the first place). The second time, I ordered, sent a check and same thing. I called after four weeks and found that they had cancelled the order because they hadn't received the check. The representative looked a little further on my account and saw that the check DID get there, but had been sent to the wrong department after arrival. They had had the check for weeks and just realized it. I did get the merchandise about a week later. I won't buy from HSN again, I have always shopped at QVC and been more than pleased. HSN needs to get their act together, QVC has it all over them.

TERRIBLE! THEY SOLD ME A LEMON!
I spent $370.00 on a Fuji Camera that lasted one month. When I called, customer service said that I was out of the 30 days and would have to contact Fuji directly (32 exactly) Fuji has had the part on backorder for 2 months. HSN refused to exchange the camera and did not stand by the product after one month. I thought that customers mattered. I would expect that a MULTI-MILLION dollar company would stand by their products and try to assist the consumer in any way they could. I was not permitted to talk to anyone other than the customer service reps supervisor who advised me that she was the highest level person that I could talk to and to call Fuji again. DO NOT BUY FROM HSN!!!!! MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL NEVER AGAIN. In the weeks following my purchase of a $370.00 camera, I have had to photograph my vacation and 7 year olds birthday with a disposable camera. They don't care. All I wanted was a camera to record my memories and instead I got a lemon and hours of frustration trying to make it right. |

I have ordered from hsn.com for 3 or 4 years now and have always received what I ordered and it's been in working condition. I returned one item for full credit because I decided I wanted the newer, fancier version and received my money back within 7 days. Customer service has always been helpful and given me phone numbers and web sites to check for replacement parts or add-ons to my purchases. I find it hard to believe people claim to have so many issues with them. I am usually considered very difficult to please and I love shopping with them.

I would not shop HSN again. I started shopping with HSN about six months ago. Out of 7 orders, I have had 5 orders with problems. Broken chandelier earrings, the wrong size shipped and had placed an order with a credit card, and they put it on a check status. Needless to say, my order never arrived. Purchased a driveway alarm from HSN, which worked one time then quit. Sent the item back in its original packaging (followed all instructions to the "t"), insured the package and mailed USPS priority. The package was returned 6 days after receipt. I have emailed them twice and have never received a response. I called customer service, who stated that she can only assume the package was never received because their office is notified when the returns dept. gets it. Since they have no record of a return being processed, she assumes it must be lost. I have to get a letter from that office stating the package was never received. I'm getting the run around, but taking lots of names and numbers. This was my first experience with HSN, and it will be my last. I DO learn from my errors.

FRUSTRATING, CUSTOMER SERVICE ORDERED A PART FOR ME FROM THEIR VENDOR FOR A PART THAT WAS MISSING ON MY CARDIO CRUISER. I have NEVER had a problem with HSN!! HSN even refunds the original s/h charges on returns! I don't know of ANY other companies that offer that! I even had an item that I incorrectly ordered, and once again, HSN customer service came through for me!! They sent a replacement in the correct size immediately, without charge, and told me to return the original with a couple of weeks!! WOW! QVC sure does NOT do that for their customers!! I received a defective item from Q and I had to return it BEFORE getting a replacement!! HSN shipped immediately! Keep up the good work Home Shopping Network!! You have a LOYAL customer here!

BUYER BEWARE!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS an Expensive JOKE on you if you purchase from Home Shopping Network. I purchased a Gateway Notebook Computer from HSN in November, A NIGHTMARE ENSUED. I called Gateway for Tech Support, I was told my computer didn't exist and to call HSN,,,I spent three days on the phone being passed back and forth from HSN to GATEWAY. Finally, I requested a RETURN LABEL to return the computer. I made two phone calls a week waiting for the return labels. I didn't receive the return labels for 3+ months. TO LATE TO GET MY REFUND FROM HSN. Customer Service SUPERVISORS advised me to NOT PURCHASE A GATEWAY COMPUTER FROM HOME SHOPPING NETWORK as they were having HORRIBLE PROBLEMS IN THEIR OWN CUSTOMER SERVICE AREA. $1700 GONE...DEAD COMPUTER....It took me a year to save up for that computer.

I had ordered $700 worth of merchandise (& $100 S&H -OUTRAGEOUS) and found out right after that there was a new HSN / AAA discount available. After several e-mails and a phone call, HSN would not honor that discount. They said they could not verify membership, when in fact they could very easily have verified it via contact with AAA or a fax of my card. Obviously dollars are worth more than customer satisfaction!

Delivery speed: I received three (3) keyboards immediately and waited almost three (3) months to get authorization to return said keyboards. It also took several tries to get my computer. It was delivered one piece at a time. Also waited another 1&1/2 months to have my credit card credited for the return of the extra keyboards.
Order accuracy: Didn't exist. Made several calls to get the most simple things straight. Customer service: SUCKS!No one seemed to care about getting my problem fixed. The support that I was supposed to get with my Gateway model 552GE has never been available. Regardless how I try, I just get the shuffle from one person to another, and never have been able to get support. I don't know any other place to try to get the service that Home Shopping Network had promised. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be glad to hear from you. I even sent a message to the head of Home Shopping Network and never got the courtesy of a reply. |

I shop HSN a great deal and have had pretty good success. However, be forewarned - I sent back several items from 2 orders in one box to save on shipping. I included the return shipment documents as required. I did not get credit for 3 pair of pants that were in the return box, but got credit for all other items. I was told that I should have returned the items in the original packaging. But, if I could provide the mailing receipt from the Post Office maybe HSN could determine that the pants really were in the box by checking the weight of the package. Give me a break!

Bought a portable DVD player. Received quickly. Accurate order. Good Condition. Still works fine, when I charge the battery! Considering another purchase of a Digital camera, on flex pay. Might be a little Cheaper else where, but no flex pay available at other stores. No interest, so why not make it easier with monthly payments.

Received 14K ruby/onyx bangle bracelet less than a year ago as a gift from my daughter. Wore it several times, dropped it on soft surface and it broke in two pieces! HSN would not stand behind the product so took it to a jeweler who said he could not fix it, suggested contacting manufacturer but when he looked at inscription on bracelet it was in chinese! I wrote HSN explaining situation to no avail. Cheaply made products and no customer support. Are all jewelry items from China? Better think twice about ordering jewelry from them, I never will and told my daughter never again. Stuck with $300 bangle I can't wear, HSN is only interested in money, nothing else.

ordered Perlier Olive Oil Autoship program on Nov 15, 2004. This program guaranteed that I would be shipped the product for a guaranteed price of $29.85 at a customer selected interval as long as I was in the program. Today (2/12/05), I received an email from HSN that they had canceled my autoship without my permission. I called customer service and talked to a manager, Jennifer. I was told that they had canceled my order and could not tell me if they had canceled any one else. I was just want my product at $29.85. They said in January that the Olive Oil line was the second highest selling product line for Perlier on HSN. The product is available. I guess they just don't want to honor that good of a price. That is deceiving the customer.

I bought a pair of Bandalino boots from HSN, Two months later the stitching unraveled on one boot. Bandalino is a reputable brand, so I reckoned HSN would sort it out. No such luck. They are refusing to replace the boots or issue a refund because the 30 day return period has expired. This applies whether the product is faulty or not! I will have to contact Bandalino directly. I have never ever before encountered a retailer who would not replace a faulty product.

Terrible customer service, I ordered a Lexmark Printer on December 5, didnt ship til December 17, when asked HSN had no response. Then the best was, HSN didnt say that the printer was actually shipped from the vendor not them, then FEDEX screwed up here it is January 6 and no printer just called and cancelled, FEDEX and HSN are not customer friendly. Fedex oops since the 17th and never has tried to deliver, and what does HSN say? Nothing just wait and see, I wont be buying any thing from these people again. Now comes the wait for my money to be returned.

This is a mixed review. Recent cubetto 7.25" gold cubetto bracelet. Customer service was wonderful. The retail value was listed at $705 and sold at $199. However, in checking various online stores, the prices generally run from $405 retail value. The bracelet looks very nice, but I would hope there would presume that there is a mark-up in retail on jewelry items to assure one feels they are getting a great deal. I would prefer plain old honesty. Half-price is still great! and flex-pay makes it that much better. On an item of this value, a 2 to 3 year warranty should be included.
