I signed up for RedOctane's G2 rental program in January 2003. I received my first game in April 2003. I had only put about 4 games in my queue and each game ranged from a "shirt-wait" to a "long-wait" status. At the beginning of April I added 1 game with an "available now" status just to be able to get a game to play. It took about a week after adding the game for them to actually ship the game and additionally it took about 7 days to receive the game. I was impressed that RedOctane shipped the game manual with the game, but was very disappointed with the time it took them to ship games and even more disappointed with the amount of games that are actually "available". They boast over 1500 titles to choose from, but what does that impressive number matter if only 20 of those 1500 games are available to play? What does that amount to? Over 20 dollars plus tax to choose from 5 different "available" titles per game console. RedOctane doesn't deliver what it promises and their customer service reps are trained at the art of BS!
