Poor Communication - Delivery Delays for months

I order one (1) item from Great Priced Furniture and was told it would take 1-3 weeks for delivery. After 3 weeks I contacted the company because I didn't get any tracking number and had to wait over a week for a response to my phone message. I finally got an email stating that it would be sent next week. It never came. I contacted them several times over the next month but I kept getting the same email. Finally after 6 weeks I cancelled the order. Communication is very poor with this company, they always take 3-10 days to reply to phone messages or email. You never get to speak to someone directly and the responses I got were emails that looked like form letters because I got the same letter 3 times.

Time frame for delivery was as promised. Made one phone call to verify which height we required for our counter. It made shopping easy as we didn't have to go from store to store looking for them. The pictures on line were as the product we received.

It is unclear whether it is error on the merchant's part or if the problem is with UPS. Item was ordered 6/23/09 and has yet to arrive (07/22/09). Merchant agreed to re-ship in email rec'd 07/20/09. I have yet to receive new tracking information.

After calling and writing and given an excuse and two different time frames, I am still without bed. Credit card has been charged a month ago, but still do not have product. I was told there is a quality control issue, but my card should not have been charged until the order was shipped.

This company was by far the worst I've ever dealt with, broken promises, damaged furniture that appeared to have gotten wet, attempts to 'force' me to take new delivery, months and months of waiting time, an owner that refused to speak to me as Customer Service was ignorant, and a Customer Service department that seemed like their focus was to wear you down with ignorance and 'form letter like' responses to complex questions. I had to dispute with Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission and Attorney General as well as my credit company that refunded my money.

I would not recommend ordering from this company to anyone. We ordered furniture, which all arrived damaged. We refused the shipment and are still waiting for new furniture 9 months later. The customer service we've received in this process has been terrible. Nothing has been followed up on unless we call repeatedly. We've been promised that the furniture is shipping since May 2008, but have yet to see our furniture.

This company takes way to long to get your order to you and they are horrible about getting back to you I had to email and call and leave several messages for someone to finally get back to me. Its been 5-6 weeks since I've ordered and all's I get from the company is we are working with the manufactur to get a delivery date for you... It should not take 6 weeks or longer to get your order. I am very disappointed in this company and will probably never reccommend them or order from them again.. they were fast to take my money but poor with custormer service.

This merchant had the right product at the right price. However they fail miserably with customer serice and communication. I had to call to find out when the product would be delivered. I never received information other than me going on line to track myself. The product has some minor dammage. This damage was not due to the shipper, as the box was in good condition when it arrived. It appeared that the damage (areas of small indentations and a small crack in the veneer) was done either during the manufacturing process or when the items was packed. I would prefer to think that it must have been damaged when packed for shipment. I called and left a voice mail and also followed up with an email asking what to do next as I really didn't want to have to repack and reship. I asked that perhaps they could send someone out to fix it. I received only an automated response saying someone would respond to my email during regular business hours. After no one responded, a week later I sent a replay to the customer service department asking when I could expect a response. This has been going on since 12/6 and it is now 12/18 without ANY communication from this company. You may get a great price but don't expect any help or communication. I will have to write a letter and go the extra mile because they certainly don't seem to want to address this problem. Nothing seems to work right anymore.

We had a girl named Jessica who was quite nice. I would order from them again as long as Fed-Ex was not the people bringing it to us. Also there was a mix-up at the factory with shipping tags etc and we initally got a chair. Also I was told that we may get some recompence from their customer service ie Great Priced furniture and have not. Beautiful bedb However almost a month to get it and many stomaches. Am afraid to but large items on the web and this experience is why. I rate it good because of the product and kindness of the people. But generally a hassel. and wouldn't shop again for they did not keep their word. Not a phone call from there customer service

The WORST experience I've ever had with a company. Terrible customer service. Prior to ordering a table, I asked three different times if the table would arrive completely assembled. I was assured yes. It arrived completely UNASSEMBLED and even though they admitted it was their mistake, they refused to pay shipping back to them. I had to pay shipping after much talk and even with the "higher-ups". I shipped back with the same exact company and same exact method of shipping but what cost 82.00 to ship TO me cost me 405.00 to return ship. I'm now stuck with a bill of 405.00 for a 600.00 table that I don't have.
Not to mention that the lady I dealt with never referred to me by name but only as "dear valued customer".. I would NEVER buy from here again and NEVER recommend them to anyone!!! |

Great Priced Furniture was great. But the company they have chosen to do business with for shipping is totally unacceptable. They have had my furniture since the 29th of December and haven't called. We have been waiting every day either for a call or our furniture. The phone number they left today on our machine (7 Jan 06 ... 9 days after they received my bed ... the first call) today, no one will answer ... not even a machine. I am very close to telling them just to send the bed back for a refund and ordering from someone else. This is TOTALLY unacceptable and lacking in professionalism. Companies are often graded by who they choose to do business with. Great Priced Furniture needs to find a better and more responsible shipping company.
