<a>Wine and liquor arrived somewhat on time. Though, this was a present.. and I PAID for giftwrapping and a message card. The package showed up without it. When I emailed them, I said, it's not a big deal though this is what happened. It's not the fact that I lost a few dollars (who cares), though some acknowledgment would have been nice.

I ordered the wine on 1/9 and the website said it was in stock. I got a confirmation e-mail soon after the order, but no shipping confirmation. I waited 2 weeks, then called and couldn't get through, both lines were not in service. I sent an e-mail from their website. I called the Chamber of Commerce in Syosset and found that they were a reputable establishiment and were in business, but that there had been a storm that knocked out power and phone lines. So I waited a day and called again and gave the man who answered my order number. He said he'd call back. He did not. So I waited another day and called again and gave the woman who answered my order number. She was very helpful and looked it up while I was on the phone. She told me that the wine was out of stock and that they had reordered the previous day and were expecting it to arrive that day and that she would call me back when the truck came in to verify whether or not that wine was delivered. She did call me back, but the wine was still out of stock. So she offered me a substitute wine at the same price. She sent me an e-mail with the details of the other wine, I discussed it with my husband, and declined. He had particularly wanted the Hamilton Russell. My dissatisfaction is not with the storm or the power/phones being out and not with the fact that the wine was out of stock. I was pleased to be offered a comparable substitute and might have taken it if the original were not specifically sought. My concern comes from the fact that I was never notified that the wine was out of stock in the first place and therefore waited two weeks expecting delivery. I have company arriving in a week, and this was to be our special wine for that occasion. I would suggest that the company consider it's communication policy with customers who have outstanding orders for more than a couple of days. Correst information earlier would have given me the option of locating this wine from another seller and still having it delivered on time.

I spoke to the merchant and told them what I wanted, the 100 Anniversary of Johnnie walker Black Centenary Edition in limited edition. They sent me the 100 years of the Striding Man that came out last year instead, and not in limited edition. I called back and yes they did have what I originally wanted, but if I wanted to send this order back I would have to pay for shipping and a 15% restocking for their mistake.

Agavero is a very hard to find tequila, so I was very pleased to find it here. The bottles came individually and thickly bubble wrapped so as not to break! I was contacted by customer service due to a UPS problem, but it was solved perfectly and quickly. I will definitely be shopping here again! :)

The company indicated that there was an error in the price of the product and would not sell it at that price. I received no notification from the company on the error. I initiated contact with the company via long distance phone call and was told a manager would call me back. No one called me so I had to call again to find out when the shipment would arrive because I needed it for a party. Needless to say I was very disappointed with the customer service. I ended buying the product at my local wine store.
