On March 29, 2009, I ordered a bottle of Villa Massa Cream di Limoni, and after 3 weeks of hassle from Grand Wine Cellar I received the wrong item on April 21, 2009: Villa Massa Limoncello. The initial ordering process on the Grand Wine Cellar web site was very easy. I received an e-mail order confirmation the same day I ordered my item. The Grand Wine Cellar web site says that if a problem occurs with an order they send an e-mail within a few days to explain the problem. I did not receive any e-mail from them about any problems with my order so I figure everything is going well. But a week later after not hearing from Grand Wine Cellar about the shipping of my order I sent them an e-mail asking when it would be shipped. That e-mail was never answered. I waited another week and gave them a call. I spoke to a sales associate with a very thick accent who was just short of being rude. It was then that I found out that the Cream di Limoni was backordered. The sales associate then told me that they would NOW order another bottle. When I asked why the bottle had not been ordered two weeks prior, I was told "I don't know." I was told that I would get a call in a couple of days to let me know that status of the backordered item. They never called. A few days after my phone call I got an e-mail saying that my order had been shipped. Now I am finally hopeful that I'll get the bottle I requested. NOPE!! They send something else instead. Steer clear of this horrible, horrible on-line store!!
