Two days after ordering an item someone called to verify the credit card information. Then he started to make offers to sell other items that supposedly were good price but actually they over charged me. When I called to return the items, the said they would charge 15% restocking fee and I have to pay the shipping expense.

100% satisfied with GoodGuys. Ordered Sony T200,was in stock, and was best basic cost and shipping price in comparsion of other vendors. Ordered one day, order shipped same morning and received two days later by regular low cost shipping. Received shipping conformation on e-mail two hrs after ordering. Salesman courtesy, informative and knowledgable, no pressure to buy accessories. Took only three minutes max. Will do Business Again!

A terrific experience. I'm delighted with GoodGuys Photo. I was skeptical about ordering from inexpensive online camera stores. Many reviews talked about aggressive salesmen, bait/switch, and outright lying about availability of product. They promised the product in 7-10 business days...I got it in 3. In between, I thought there had been a mistake, so I emailed them. They answered in 24 hours. Not typical, according to the reviews. There was no hustling, no aggravation. I researched many internet companies and read many reviews. I chose GoodGuys Photo, because they were the best. When I called to order, they were pleasant, offered accessories once - no pressure - and then shipped my unit the same day. I was able to track it on DHL and it was delivered two days later. I would recommend this company to others. Their prices lower than other companies, and their product and service were great. It was well worth the piece of mind and hassle free ordering!!

I'm really satisfied with the service provided by GoodGuys Photo in my recent on-line purchase of a Nikon D40. The price was excellent, and the shipping cost was very good -my camera arrived one day before expected. The Nikon was as advertised, clearly brand new, and the packing job was pefect. Recently, I did a Google search on the Canon Sd750, and 8 retailers came up. GoodGuys Photo was the lowest price and had one of the highest ratings, which is rare. Generally the lowest price has dismal ratings, I placed my order on line expecting someone to call me trying to sell me accessories, to my surprise and joy no one did. I received an email confirmation and DHL shipping and tracking number. My SD 750 was delivered on the next day. Now that's how I like doing business. Thanks,

Buying a camera from GoodGuys Photo was easy and everything went smoothly. I found everything that I wanted on their website and ordered it easily online. I had already done my research so it was easy to find everything. Their prices were excellent for all that I purchased. I received confirmation via email of my order. Be Careful! There are several online camera "stores" in NY claiming great prices. They then try to upsell you accessories and when you want none, your item is magically backordered or refurbished only. These "guys" in particular are a scam!

I was SO skeptical to order an electronics product - sight unseen - from an online vendor. "Scaredy cat" is my middle name. After spending hours researching reviews of online stores that carried the Sima CT-2 GoVideo DVD enhancer .. I chose GoodGuys Photo. What a great choice! My research paid off as the excellent reviews they received certainly were accurate. Ordering was a snap - delivery was promptly made on the 3rd day - shipping cost was surprisingly low - no tax - product was brand new in an unopened container. I received an email with my tracking number & tracking link within 8 hours of placing my order.The kicker - I located the same product a few days ago here in Orlando at "Best Buy" but it was exactly twice the price that I paid at GoodGuys. Twice the price + tax! I'm definitely a happy camper & will return to GoodGuys again.

I have ordered twice from this company in the last 30 or so days, and I can say that not once did they do anything wrong, it was prompt, courteous and exactly what I ordered with absolutely no pressure to buy anything else at all. I was impressed that the order was processed the day after I entered the order and I received a call on Labor Day verifying my order. The salesperson was very pleasant and DID NOT DO A HARD SELL FOR ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS. I requested next day shipment and the shipping department called me the day it was suppose to ship just to confirm my shipping address and to inform me that it was being shipped. Much to my surprise, it arrived early the next morning (10:30 Eastern) in perfect working condition. I would order from them again.....

The online order was simple and quick. I got an e-mail within minutes of ordering, to confirm. I got a second e-mail within 2 hours confirming the transaction, and saying it was approved and to be shipped on time. I had an e-mail the next morning that included a tracking number that worked great. The camera arrived on time even though there was a holiday in the middle of the shipping time. I’ve had such awful experiences by these BS firms that although Goodguys had recommendations from a few friends and a high user rating I was still a little quaky when placing the order.There was really no need for that because after 2 days the package arrived, the camcorder works perfectly and my card was charged for the exact amount. I searched for a digital Hard Drive video camera. I had to decide between JVC and a Sony. They both have good features. After reviewing the facts and testing the cameras I decided to keep the Sony. Among all the available I chose Good Guys Photo. The service was excellent. I got all the info needed before I order the product. I asked for advice and felt that the person on the other side was well informed. The items were delivered faster then expected. One of the items was defective and I called again. I received the same service and prompt answer. The items were well packed and neatly organized. Within hours I was filming and after uploading the software to manage the takes I was producing an editing my first home-made-movie. I would highly recommend this site to anyone. The person who took my call was very well informed and offered useful data.

I order a new digital camera that is normally $400 at a major national electronics store and found it at Good Guys for more then $110 less. Product was exactly as described on the web site and was very easy to navigate. Delivery was very fast and product arrived safe and sound. I really liked the phone call credit card verification, and with all the identity theft, you can not be to safe these days. My experience with this organization was similar to what's been posted here. I ordered a camera at a good price only to have a sales rep call to "confirm" the order. Before he could delve into the myriad of wonderful deals he had available for me, I asked him to confirm the availability of the product and identify a ship date. He told me the camera was on back order and he didn't know when it would ship. I told him to cancel the order. This seems to be a pretty well-established scam with goodguysphoto.com and bwayphoto.com. Avoid these clowns!

THEY SCAM YOU. Their cameras are at a great price, really great. Then they tell you ALL ABOUT their packages. DON'T GET THEIR PACKAGES-they tell you they're throwing in a 'high-quality UV filter', and say that it is $50 retail, but when you get it for $20(oh, what a deal!) you see that it is actually a Merkury Optics plain old filter and a THREE-PACK online anywhere is only $14. I would warn everyone of this place and only ever buy a camera from here. You can't return only the filter because if they say they're giving you a deal it means 'SPADA', Special Packaging and Discounts Applied, and in that event you must return the entire package together according to 'Terms and Conditions', plus a huge restocking fee. Also shipping took EIGHT WEEKS from when I ordered, they kept saying it was 'out of stock; it will ship in 2-3 weeks'. BOYCOTT GOODGUYS PHOTO. Save yourself the trouble!

They had a very competitve price on the camera i ordered, (The HOOK). Then i recieved a call from their sales dept. with their (UPSALE). They call it a "spada", BUYERS BEWARE, Thats were they will lie to you about what comes with the product and what you need. . My final bill was itemised with out pricing on any items, and double my original order, How much dose this stuff cost? And if you return any item becuse of the special pricing of combined items, and the restocking charge. They get you one way or the other. I just chalk it up to experience, and cut my loses. Sense then I've found the prices for the assesories, were way out of line with other retailers. This was my worst internet buying experience, I will definely check out these reviews on retailers before i buy again.

Like the other review here I ordered an Olympus Camera at what was a great price and had to verify the order. On the verification call I was offered many options, all of which I refused. The product never shipped and two weeks later when I called I was told it was on back order for 2-3 weeks. A week later I got an email advising the product was on back order for 2-3 weeks. I wrote a return email promising I would flame them on sites like this if they didn't deliver within 3 weeks. An hour later I got an email informing me my order had been cancelled. Don't bother with these guys.

I ordered a Panasonic camera from GoodGuysPhoto. At the time I ordered it was listed as in stock at a great price. However, several days after the order I received an email saying I needed to contact their customer service to verify information. It was actually a sales pitch in which they tried to sell me an extra battery, memory card, and other accessories (no information was verified). After I "confirmed" the order they said it would ship. Several days later I hadn't received a shipping notice so I emailed to find out what was going on. They told me it was back ordered and wouldn't be available for 2-3 weeks. I cancelled at that time.
