Golfsmith Customer Service is The Worst - Beware!

I've been dealing with Golfsmith for many years and watched as their customer service has spiraled downward to a point that I am finally giving up on them and will take my business elsewhere ... The level of incompetency at Golfsmith stretches from the sales staff to the warehouse help. Even the basic tasks of shipping orders is beyond their ability to perform correctly (another example: splitting orders by shipping shafts by air and heads by ground even when a customer pays for air shipping ... What good are shafts without heads ... duh?) It's all about a hustle for a sale, never mind repeat business. Only when there are job cuts at Golfsmith as sales begin to plummet, will service ever improve as they will then begin to appreciate your business instead of thumbing their noses at their customers with an attitude of you get what you get when you get it. Do yourself a favor ... run, don't walk! I'd feel more comfortable buying a clunker from a used car dealer than anything from Golfsmith! When you actually compare prices, you can walk into nearly any retail outfit and pay the same prices in most cases and actually save money in some cases, but there are many discount resources available via the internet too. I suppose with customer service this bad, this might be one case where I would support shipping jobs to India, because the service might actually improve!
