Goddess Within (GWBeauty.com) is the worst e-commerce experience I've had, in several years of online shopping. Do not buy anything from them.
In early June I ordered almost $100 worth of hair product from Goddess Within and paid for "expedited shipping" in order to receive the order before a trip. It did not arrive.
TWO MONTHS LATER I e-mailed customer service to cancel the order. My credit card had not been charged, and I had received no other communication from the company. I just wanted to make sure the cancellation was clear. No response.
A MONTH AFTER THAT I received an automated shipping notification e-mail. I immediately contacted customer service again to explain that a) I had already asked to cancel the order and b) if it was too late to stop the shipment, I expected to be able to return the order for a full refund, at no cost to myself. (Never mind the fact that an "expedited" order was being sent THREE MONTHS late.)
Finally I heard from customer service but they were comletely unhelpful and seemed to be ignoring my requests. They sent instructions on how to return the order, but they expected me to pay the cost of shipping - which would have been significant; it was a heavy box.
After a few more futile communications, I ended up keeping the product. If I had continued to spend time going back and forth with Goddess Within, maybe I would have eventually gotten my refund. Maybe. But at this point, I think my time is better spent warning other people about this company's business practices. Terrible.
