I ordered a $25 product from Goddess Within on August 25, 2007 and received a confirmation email immediately. The email stated that theyd received my order and gave me a link to a page on their site that would allow me to check my order.
As of September 11, the product hadn't yet arrived, so I emailed customer service asking about the status of my order.
I received a response from Andy in customer service saying that the item was back ordered until the 15th. He asked asking if I'd like to wait for it to come back into stock or cancel my order.
I replied that I would wait for the product. I noted, too, that it would have been good -from a customer service standpoint- to have let me know about the backorder BEFORE I had to ask.
Andy replied with an email saying simply that I'd get an email with my tracking info when the order shipped - there was no apology and no acknowledgment of my comment about customer service.
Finally, I received an email that the item was shipped on September 26. It arrived at my door on October 4.
Until Goddess Within makes a commitment to provide satisfactory customer service, I see no reason to spend one's hard-earned money there.
