Vendor's web page said item was in stock. The item actually shipped a week later with a UPS label on top of another new UPS label showing where the item had just been shipped to the vendor. This is a classic internet tactic - sell an item to a customer and then go buy it wholesale so you can ship it after a few days delay. Bottom line; I got what I asked for at a good price about a week late. I'd buy from them again.

Everything was ok; no notable pros or cons. My only small objection is that the merchant's name, as with other merchants, is not retained throughout the transaction. That day I made three purchases - each from a different vendor. The merchant you are specifically inquiring about, GoVacuum, I believe was one of them; however emails regarding the purchases were sent to me by "Vacuums Unlimited", "Nick and Jack Specialties" and "Turnpike Appliance/Smallappliance.com". I think that GoVacuum followed up as Vacuums Unlimited in their emails. In any case, all 3 vendors were similarly ok to deal with, so I can endorse GoVacuum as "good".

I did an online search to find the brands and models meeting my requirements in a new vacuum, as well as a price comparison once I'd decided on a particular model. GoVacuum.com not only had the best net price (including s/h, tax, etc.), it also had the best descriptions of the various models I was considering. I was a bit leary of ordering such a big purchase from an out of state company, but comparing the reputations of the various on-line merchants carrying my vacuum, I found that GoVacuum had the highest level of customer satisfaction and informative reviews. After placing my order, I was given an expected delivery date and was able to track the shipping progress online. It was actually kind of fun to see where my vacuum was during its trip to my house. It arrived on the expected delivery date in good condition. All accessories were present and the vacuum worked as advertised.

There was a small 'glitch' with my order and charging it to my cc. I called the company and they were very responsive and acted promptly to get the situation corrected. Very customer service oriented and a good company to deal with. I'd purchase another item from them. I love my vacuum and it's worked wonderfully. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

First vacuum was damaged during delivery. Second one was sent promptly and with no hassle. Second box was also damaged, but the vacuum seems OK so far. I am happy with the product. I suggest that the factory-provided boxes are inadequate for shipping.

Even though the shop was in the midst of Hurricane Isabel, had no power and systems were down, I got my steam press 4 days after we ordered it AND they had the best prices (20.00 lower than anyone else) on the model I wanted. I was very impressed with them and will shop there again.

My only complaint with this merchant is that I recieved 2 emails indicating my item had shipped. One with a tracking number (which was never valid), and a second without a tracking number. I emailed the company to get the "true" status of my order, but never heard from them. I got my vacuum in about 1 weeks time, which isn't bad, but since it was coming from 2 hrs away, I expected it to be within a day or so.

Unbeknownst to me my vacuum was not in stock; despite what the internet advised. It was only when I called to confirm/check status that I discovered it was on back order. I waited for the upcoming anticipated ship date, but to no avail as further delays were encountered. Finally, I got it.

It would be better if they have photos of the items because the filter I purchased was not the one that I needed. I couldn't tell because there were not photos, I just went by the vacuum model number. Turns out there are two filters for my vacuum and I wouldn't have known coz there was no photo... Otherwise service was very fast and on time.

Very good company. The first vacuum I received was broken and missing a part, but that may have happened in the shipping. I called and they shipped me a new vacuum immediately. They definitely went out of their way to make sure I was pleased!

everything went well with the order, but the UPS delivery was another story. I live in a condo and UPS would not deliver the package without a signature. I had to pick it up at the UPS building. They had lost my package and I had to go back a second time. I'd prefer to see a box on the order page to check if I want the package delivered without a signature. That would alleviate these kinds of problems.

Substituted an inferior replacement on their own initiative rather than lose a sale (Hoover G bag -- which appears to hold 1/3-1/4 as much). H bag is apparently discontinued but they shouldn't still advertise it on their site if they don't have it. Subsequently, vacuums24x7.com got me twice as many H bags for the same price by 2-day USPS.
