I'm always on the look-out for new e-tailers, especially a group of people that I'll call the little guys. They're the non-Amazon monsters who may not have a sophisticated web design, may not sell a bazillion products, but in the end, they deliver on the most important aspect - a quality product at a decent price.

I found Gemini Computers to fit that description perfectly.

Gemini Computers doesn't do much in the way of telling you about them. It's too bad because they do need to take some time and toot their own horn.

What we do know about them is that they are located in New York and that they specialize in selling new software.

Software that they offer include: Adobe, Intuit, Quicken, Symantec, Norton, Macromedia, Microsoft, Iogear, Aten, Peachtree, Various Networking, Various Games, Various Utilities, and Various Educational Titles.

About The Web Site
Gemini Computers store is set up through Yahoo's store site. If you're familiar with how Yahoo has this area set up, then you know that you're not going to see a lot of fancy bells and whistles. At the same time, you will find that the store is easy to navigate through and the information you're looking for is all there.

Each individual product listed has a picture, an extremely lengthy (and helpful) description, availability, the manufacturer's price, and their price.

About My Purchase
I didn't initially go to Gemini Computers because I knew about the site. I went there because when I was doing a search on a piece of software that I needed, I found that they offered it at one of the cheapest prices.

Now I have to tell you, at one time cheapest carried a lot of weight with me but after surviving some pretty horrible transactions with other e-tailers that have the lowest price, I don't automatically purchase just based on the lowest price.

Gemini Computers came in at 3-4 lowest price among 40 different stores brought up. Based upon their Yahoo shopping rating, I felt comfortable purchasing from them.

I found what I wanted easily, added it to my shopping cart, and checked out.

Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express Money Orders, Cashier Checks, Company Checks & Personal Checks as well as COD's, Purchase Orders and Paypal. Did you see that people? Paypal. This is a good thing.

Sales tax is charged to residents of New York.

Once you place your order, they usually package and ship it the very same day. Shipping occurs either Federal Express or UPS. My software cost was $6.95 to ship. I received my package 4 business days later. The title was brand new, completely sealed, and everything that I was expecting.
