The router came in a timely manner, however there was NO software included, and there was a note to 'download the software' from Netgear.com. Netgear.com does NOT have any software to download. VERY discouraging. Hopefully Geeks.com will correct this problem... but they haven't yet.

The Geeks always has excellent products at really good prices. Their daily deals are a welcomed surprise wnen I check the site every morning, but you need to buy quickly before they sell out! It's also one of the best outlets available for a wide variety of parts at very low prices, I always check them first before all others. Ordered various electronics, computer hardware items. One of the three green laser pointers I ordered did not work, which was very inconvenient since they were intended as gifts. Called customer service, talked after long wait to rep who was very friendly and helpful in arranging for a replacement. It is just odd that they send out defective items (not the first order where this happened). I can reluctantly recommend GEEKS.COM. Would buy there again, if I am in the market for their merchandise again, but have to mention that there is a bit of a risk that it will require a follow-up.

I have been a customer since 2001, and have nearly always received excellent service. The few times I had a bad experience were when they shipped the wrong item to me, not once, but twice. Received damaged item. Sent 2 emails with no response. So far I have called them 2 times. 1st time the replacement part was out of stock. Both times I was placed on hold for a considerable time. I still do not have the replacement part 20 days after placing the order.

Although I've received the MP3 player that I ordered it does not work and I have to submit a RMA to have the unit replaced. Too bad they do not reimburse you for the shipping cost. You have to pay to receive and pay again to return. I think that when you have to submit a RMA you should be reimbursed for your shipping cost.

In the past several months I have purchased numerous items from Geeks.com and all products sold as "new" were satisfactory. "Refurbished" products were unsatisfactory on several items. Of five LG DVD-VCR recorders, 3 are defective. A Haier brand portable CD, DVD player is JUNK. This one is a replacement by Geeks for the first one that was JUNK. After the cost of packaging and returning the first one with the replacement being as worthless as the first I did not bother returning it. $118.00 big paper weight. On the good side Geeks do a great job of expediting the filling and shipping of orders and the prices are reasonable. Therefor I will continue as their customer. Rogr1davis@aol.com

Great merchant with great prices. Geeks.com has become a gold standard for me lately. This is in part because i know they can undercut any other online computer retailer, sometimes by up to %50. The downside is the shipping. Most of the time i qualify for free shipping which is great. But, they are in California and I'm in New York which makes for crappy ground shipping times. But then again - who can complain about free.
