2- received email with confirmation
3- received tracking number same day
4- 4 days later computer was received in almost brand new condition with all manuals 1 year warranty
5- all accesories brand new
6- after inspecting my unit in daylight I could not find one single defect, scratch or dent, it was an open box item $400.00 savings from a factory fresh computer

I bought 3 Macbooks 2.0Ghz 13.3" from Gainsaver.com in middle of Feb 09, I was able to custom configure all 3 units differently ( Which was great as these were for different positions in my company, some people needed fully loaded with memory and bigger hard drive but some user didn't need much memory) This was big help, I recieved all the units well packaged in 5 days from the day I had ordered. All were in great condition and didn't looked like used, So in brief Gainsaver helped me save big money by not compromising on quality of equipment, I than gainsaver and would definetely recommend to you all.

Great. Best price I found online for this notebook. My son wanted another Mac for school. He lost the first one just a few months after we bought it. I didn’t want to spend so much money agan for a brand new one. I decided to buy used in case he drops it or loses it again. I called and spoke to the sales girl to make sure I got the right thing. I always feel better talking to a real person. She was very helpful. The computer arrived as advertised with exactly the configuration I ordered. I had a really good experience with GainSaver. I purchased a used Power Mac to do some video production work. I chose it because the price was so low I couldn’t resist. But after it came and I started using it, I realized that it didn’t have the speed I wanted. (The older macs are not as fast as I remembered!) So I called GainSaver to see if I could return it. They told me I could upgrade to another system. I just need to pay the price difference. So now, I’m really happy with the 2.6 Mac Pro. It cost more than the Power Mac, but it’s still a $1000 less than buying new. Its got two Xeon processors and it kicks butt. They were really helpful so I will buy from them again next time I need to upgrade.

Having been on internet since 1994, seeing lot's of etailors come and go but Gainsaver seems to be getting right. My first experience was in 2007 buying a G4 1.42Ghz Powermac since than for almost two years now I have done a lot of my  shopping at Gainsaver.com . Each time, I found great buys for myself, my immediate family, and extended family. I am very happy to say all of the equipment have worked too and never had any issue's except once when battery of macbook which i bought was not holding charge, Gainsaver customer service was so quick and helpful they took care of it right away.

This is impressive since I bought 2 Imacs, 2 Macbook and a Mac pro for my business. All of them were well packaged and arrived on time.

They are probably the most reliable with amaxzing prices on used equipment. Delivery speed is always excellent, with equipment arriving two or three days earlier than expected.

Low price, great service, and they kept their word. Hard to find these days. 

I would prefer to do business with Gainsaver over other companies.

My son is a freshman in college and he has been bugging me for a Apple Macbook Pro.  I have been an online shopper for years and work in the technical industry.  I know computers.  I started searching for a Macbook Pro and found new units way outside my budget for a college freshman.  I found a Used Macbook Pro 15.4" 2.0 GHz Intel Core Duo at GainSaver.  What a deal.  I was able to configure the unit they way my son wanted and I saved about $1200 compared to a New Macbook Pro.  I decided to get the 3 year warranty to cover most of his college years.  I ordered online and two days later got an email notifing me of the tracking numbers.  I tracked it at UPS and told my son this computer was on the way. When he received the unit a few days later, he called and thanked me.  He said all his friends are now jealous he got a Macbook Pro.  I don't think his friends know how much I saved.  If you want to save money, GainSaver is the place to go. My experience at GainSaver was awesome.

I just ordered and received a macbook refurb and I am delighted with the computer.  It is exactly as specified, it works great and even has a good battery.  It is fully installed with software but just as they specified they don't send you a backup disc.  The outside of the case was scratched as if someone carried it in a briefcase with other stuff but not bad.  I buffed most of it out with PlastX.  The inside (keyboard and screen) looks new.  The order process was simple and shipment was quick with great packing.
This really was a deal, I got a macbook intel duo 2.0 for under $600.
I did recommend to a friend-my pastor.

Got to know from friend about gainSaver.com, so I checked and what a great surprise! Great deals for iMac...thats what i was looking for. i did my research and hopped through other sites, none could match this one. i placed my order for iMac alongwith an external hard drive and some more computer accessories.... received shipment as ordered inside 3 days. i am using iMac for more than a week now and couldn't be more satisfied.

it's been a week and they haven't sent my order. They asked for extra information in order to ship my purchase to an address different than the billing address. I sent them the information three(3) times and have not heard anything back and the online status of my order reads, "cancelled". So I doubt they're actually going send it to me. I was hoping to get my order within the week. I don't even think I'll receive it before the school semester is over, which is what I need it for.

The credit card process is poor and did not allow for making corrections in an efficient and confusin free process. The process required me to reload everything 3 times, which led to making multiple attempts, and having multiple orders made. When contacting customer service to try to correct the problem they were abrupt, would not allow time to listen to the problem and only made the situation worse. Ultimately, the order was cancalled due to the confusion the customer service reps created. I cannot imagine ever going back ti the Gainsaver website.

This company is a complete scam, DO-NOT deal with them. I tried to order a G4 from them and all I got was a complete run around, with issues with my credit card, problems with my address, they wanted faxes with copies of all my information. and then two weeks after they said that they had shipped the product, it's suddenly is on back order. If you want to deal with idiots, go ahead and order from them. I have never had to deal with an online-company this bad, EVER! They have no clue how to do business, they will waste your time, and try to trap your money. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! BAD!  BAD!   BAD!   BAD!  STAY AWAY!

Do not shop here. They sent me a broken computer, and there were no apologies. They made me pay for shipping back to them. Then, instead of sending me what I ordered, they gave me store credit. They tried a bait and switch on me, but I held my ground and finally got a refund. Actually, the refund was $50 less than it should been, but the customer service was so rude and horrible it is not worth trying to get it back.

I should have researched gainsaver more. Instead, I took a chance that I could buy a cheap apple laptop there. WRONG.

1.) First laptop would not boot up.
2.) returned (had to pay shipping, of course)
3.) Second laptop arrived with bad powersupply and two replaced keys (HANDWRITTEN letters on them)
4.) Fortunately I had an extra powersupply, so I just used that. I cleaned up poorly written key letters and made them nicer with permanent marker.
5.) Laptop booted up, but wouldn't run reliably
6.) Tech friend checked it out (for free, thank God) and found the motherboard to be bad.

At this point I just wanted to return the laptop for refund. Guess what? Can't do that! All you can do is keep paying shipping and they will keep sending you crappy laptops.

Bottom line: AVOID! If you want to take a chance, just go to Ebay and pay with paypal. Then you can get a refund if bad.

GainSaver.com is a TOTAL DISSASTER. They advertise the best prices, but the total opposite is true; their INVENTORY of completely out of whack. My first order - 24"iMac - no problems. Second order - 1 Macbook and 2 iMac. I received phone call next day - we don't have macbooks in stock and iMac only come with different configuration, so youhave to pay additional $140. 3rd order - 2iMac - same thing, this time, they only come with super drive (additional $89 per unit) and 2 GB of RAM (addiitonal $149 per unit). PEOPLE, this is BAIT-N-SWITCH, just they don't tell you right when you order, they wait day or two. You're better off buying from Apple direct, or any other joint online, actaully you're best off using EBAY. At least they won't try to screw you for more money - the prices and descriptions are already there.
