On Wednesday, May 6, I decided that I wanted to check out the macbook pro. I had admired and used the powerbook till then, but thought macbook pro to be little pricey.

A review of CNet.com, a nice site for product reviews and price comparisons, showed that the macbook pro had very good

I looked at a couple of other laptops as well, but I wanted the functionality that I had. I made a decision that the Macbook pro would have the functionality I needed at a good price

Shopping.com  listed the prices from various online vendors for the unit I wanted. Gainsaver had the lowest price. I also observed that it has a fairly strong rating average from customers.

I also checked prices with online services ZDNet.com and Pricegrabber.com. I then checked on Epinions and found that, again, Gainsaver was well regarded.

I ordered the item at about 10am CST on Thursday, May 7.The order was acknowledged within a couple of hours. It shipped the same day.

The Treo arrived today, Monday, May 11, in close to new condition as described. I couldn't be more delighted.

I'm going to check with Gainsaver from now on for all my computer peripherals, supplies purchases.
