I ordered an Lshaped desk from furniture buzz on 8/8/08. After an email saying the item all was backordered, I called and asked when it would be shipped out. The man I talked to was polite and said that there was actually an item in stock and that it would be shipped out at the end of the week. After that week, no shipping information, so I called again. A man named Robert said that he had to run and check on it and said he would call me back by the end of the day. So I waited and no call, so I called again the next day. He said that the item was on the shelf and it was ready to be shipped out by the end of the that week! Okay so then the next week, still no shipping info! What the heck. So I give it a few days, the end of another week, still no desk. The lady who answers my call says that there is something she has to check on and will email me by the end of the day. I wait and there's no email which brings me to today [9/2]. The man I speak to says that it so happens the desk I ordered was a return and didn't look like it was in good condition to sell and was issuing a refund! Wow someone could have let me know so I didn't have to spend a month without a desk. Seeing as how they handle these, I'd say it would be a good month before I get my money back. OH YEAH also they charged me before it was even shipped. I suppose that it is good they didn't try to ship me the returned desk. They wouldn't have to deal with a refund if they waited until the item was shipped! Which in this case was never!!!!!
If you must buy from furniturebuzz, go through a trusted website such as amazon!!
