Shady sales with no mention on the ordering page of the 7 percent charge I was going to receive for "insurance". I called as is the process to verify the order. He tried selling me an overpriced battery after I asked what the TOTAL price of the simple camera order was. Told him I did not want the battery. Again asked for total price including coupon discount. It should have been 349.99 but he said 391.__ The extra being for insurance which is explained in the company policy. Apparently a 7 percent surcharge. After I asked to have the order cancelled he said he was not thru with the price reduction and he still needed to include the $10 coupon reduction (which was already in the 349.99). I told him I could get the camera for $9 more including tax and he told me I was wrong. I'm guessing that it varies by state as to whether or not they charge a person for insurance. I ordered thru Amazon from another vendor for $8 more but I know this one is honest. Will report their sales gimics to the FCC.

I recently purchased a digital SLR camera from Fumfie and regret every bit of the experience. The sales and customer service staff are beyond dishonest (they misrepresented what's included with the product, insurance costs, warranty info, timing of your shipment), and if you're not satisfied with anything, they use very aggressive tactics to intimidate customers.
I am not one to write reviews but feel very compelled to let others know that if you purchase ANYTHING from Fumfie, you will regret it. In the end, I was fooled by their predatory pricing and upsell tactics, and wish I had just gone with B&H, J&R, Amazon, or my local camera store. |

As others said here, DO NOT PURCHASE from this business.
First, the price is attractive enough to suck you in. Then, they try to sell you more, and if you don't buy more, then there will be an additional 10% service fee that they don't tell you about online, only on the phone. Think about it, they have an online service, then send you an email to call them and confirm the order?!? That should be red flagged right there. DO--NOT--DO--BUSINESS with these NY shysters! |

Don't get lured by the low prices. Fumfie has hidden fees and one of the worst customer services I ever had to deal with.
Despite advertising free shipping on their website and an initial invoice that didn't show any shipping charges, I had to pay an additional $120 for shipping insurance (Fumfie refused to ship without). This became only apparent after I received a phone call to confirm the order a day after placing the order.
Shipping was also extremely slow. When my camera hadn't been shipped a full week after placing the order I called customer service. After explaining my situation, I was reconnected four different times. I was only able to finally speak to a customer service representative after I started my explanation with a plea not to reconnect me again. Of course, he wasn't able to tell me when my product would ship, but instead gave me the extension of a person in the shipping department. I tried to call several times, left a voice mail, but never received an answer. In the end, my camera shipped after a few days later but I barely got it on time before Christmas.

We were blown away at the level of customer service and pricing. We shopped around online and in-store and found the prices to be very competitive. We placed our order on a weekend online and received a confirmation call that night. Unfortunately, we found the hdmi cable we received was the wrong one, but one simple call and they shipped the proper cord right to us at no cost and allowed us to keep the original cord. I would certainly suggest fumfie and will continue to look for future purchases.

I was called to complete the order. I was asked if I wanted a 5 hour battery added to the order. I asked how long did the battery that came with the camera last. I was told only 20 minutes so I added the extra battery to the order. When I received the camera I looked over the owners manual that stated that it the battery would last 2 1/2 hours. I was obviously sold a battery under false pretenses. I called customer service and spoke with joe. I told him that I would like a call tag issued and a credit back to my card. He said that he would have to charge me $20 to do so and that their would be a 15% restocking fee. I asked to speak to a manager or owner. Joe told me that he was the highest ranking customer service representative and that the owner does not speak to customers. After letting him know that I would return the entire purchase, of which he seemed to care less, he transfered me to Tammy who at best could only offer me a 4 year extended warranty at no charge. Although useless to me, as I purchase a new camera every year to keep up with the latest technology and inovation, I accepted it as it was my only recourse. Would NEVER EVER PURCHASE FROM FUMFIE AGAIN..THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DECEPTIVE SELLING TACTICS..IN SHORT CONNIVING LIARS.

I was a bit reluctant, having seen some reviews (on an Amazon site). However the price was $75 less than Amazon and I decided to go ahead and ordered the camera on line. I then read some pretty bad reviews and decided to cancel the order, but after speaking to a sales rep at Fumfie I decided to not cancel. The invoice arrived as an email almost right after talking to the rep. I would have preferred to have seen the invoice on line. I was surprised to see free 2 day shipping and the UPS delivery was confirmed by the UPS Quantum View notification system. Service, price and delivery were all up to my expectations and I am now enjoying my camera purchase.

It took a little longer than expected; 12 working days to receive the order, but I saved $57 dollars over the big box prices on sale. I called in twice - to get an invoice confirmation and to check on delivery; both times the wait was short and the people who answered were quick, polite, and followed up shortly with written confirmation. I recommend them and will do business with them again.

I read reviews about Fumfie, and decided to buy a Canon comcorder from Fumfie. I got my camcorder on time with everything perfect. Good price, great product, exellent customer service. I called the customer service to make sure if they already send my camcorder out. The representative was very nice , and did not push me buy anything. I will recommend Fumfie to all of my friends, and will buy things from Fumfie again! Thank you, Fumfie.

The price for my item, the ordering process, and the shipping process was good. I only had a couple of minor issues with FumFie: First, a sale guy called to confirm my order and then tried to upsale me seveal items for the product, indicating I would get better performance. The camera is brand new. It better work perfect out of the box. Second, I ordered an extra battery for my product. The battery package had been opened for some reason, making me think the battery may not be brand new. However, the battery seems to working fine at this point. FumFie stated that all products were brand new. So, I'm not sure what happened. Overall, my experience with FumFie was good.

I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised that low cost and high quality still mean something in business. I wasn't excited about the packing strategy; the camera is a gift for Christmas so hopefully the packaging didn't bother anything... otherwise, the cost, follow up, service and responses were perfect!!! I plan to come by this site again for a video camera purchase in the near future.
