Ridiculous information policy and rip-off restocking fee!

My experience with Frames Direct was ridiculous! I called them to check the vertical height on a few frames that I was interested in ordering to try on. I was told by the operator that she was "not allowed" to give me the vertical height measurement because the manufacturer does not want them to the have that information. I told her that made no sense whatsoever given that not everyone can try the frames on locally before buying them online and why should I be expected to buy "blind" so to speak and end up paying a
restocking fee if the frames end up being to small or large for my face. She then asked me how many pair I was interested in checking on and I said "three". Then she asked "Are you going to buy them all?" To me that means if you are going to buy them I'll check on the dimension. My question is why would I buy something unless I know that barring the try-on they are at least in the ball-park of the right size. I felt like they were only interested in making the sale if they didn't have to provide any additional information. No thanks, I'd rather give my money to someone who actually doesn't mind working for it.
