"Free" with purchase items have extra shipping costs that are not mentioned before you purchase. Very high shipping costs and will not combine shipping. Extremely rude customer service that gets mad when you do not add additional high priced add-ons. Sent me a refurbished camera when the webite clearly states "Brand New Factory Sealed". Many other bad reviews on other websites I have no idea why they are rated so high on this site. Worst seller ever in my 10 years of online shopping.

Buyer Beware! I purchased a washer on in June of 2009, it never worked from the get go. The told me I had to contact a company named Hire America to do the service work after about 10 phone calls and 3 months we finally had a technition come out and "fix" the washer except guess what is still did not work. I have been working with the liars at Hire America for months and waiting for the new replacement washer; every time I call they tell me that it is in process and at corporate. I cannot get my wahser replaced and FotoConnection does not care nor does Hire America. I have not washer and they have my $700! How is this legal???? Do not buy from FotoConnection no matter how cheap it is.

They claimed that I would recieve my camera in plenty of time for my vacation. I even paid extra for fast shipping. I kept calling and recieved more promises but no camera. Time to go on vacation and no canmera. Broken promises and poor service. I should have shopped somewhere else.

I ordered a Canon EOS 50d with 24-105 l Series Lens.
Best price I could find on the internet. Salesperson Mikeg ext 2077 was extremely knowledgeable, and more importantly very polite. Camera was delivered in 4 days and Mike even called me the day it was delivered to see that it was delivered to my satisfaction. Overall very pleased with Fotoconnection and especially Mike Green ! I ordered the Canon PowerShot SX1 IS from the Foto Connection Online Store. I received the order exactly when they said it would be delivered and it contained all of the promised components.
Mike Green from Foto Connection called a few days later to ask if the camera was working well. I said I would have to call back because I had ordered a 16GB SDHC from another source that had yet to arrive. It finally arrived but as I began to explore the camera the viewfinder was grainy and fuzzy while the LCD display was really sharp. I called and actually reached Mike on the first try, as he said I could. He searched for a minute or so and solved the problem: a small knob near the viewfinder perfected the image, both with and without my glasses. It is one thing to actually reach a person that promises to be there. It is a total surprise when they really help. It may seem like a small problem but I am confindent that more complicated issues will be handled with the same care and quickness. It makes me feel smart to have chosen Foto Connection. |

Foto Connection was amazing. First one all I got a really good deal on my camera and received it in 4 days after ordering. I received everything that I ordered. They had great customer service. I was a bit apprehensive at first since I read a lot of the reviews and I would have to say they definitely improved their customer service! I wouldn’t buy a camera anywhere except for Foto Connection.

FotoConnection has been the far worst buying experience I have ever had. They are sneaky, and will steal from you. Their sales representatives make a profit on the items they sell and can 'make up' their own prices during the sell. Just as an example: I wanted to purchase an Nikon SB800 flash, the salesman said he had a flash that was just as good and almost equal in the options. So I went ahead and tried it, turned out to be a $30 flash. Yeah, same thing new from other places was $30, but he tried to charge me $200. It looked like something off the clearance rack at Ritz Camera.
I could write a novel about the horrible customer service, or the more than 30 days I have been dealing with these criminals, but instead I'm going to continue to wait for their "customer service" to continue to not help me. I'll update this later with all the details of this sale. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE, saving a hundred bucks is not worth the hastle. For all I know it's probably referbished anyway. |

I ordered an A/C unit on the 16th of May 2009. Its been a month that I have placed this order and no sight of my unit. Eventhough the website says its in stock (as of 06-16-09), customer service claims that the unit has been oversold and will not be able to fulfill the order. Worst customer service ever experienced. Adding insult to injury, when I called customer service they tried to force me to buy truck freight instead of UPS ($50.00 more) which I refused.Learned my lesson on this one and will make sure people know about this website and shoddy customer service.

Do Not Buy From This Seller! Called them to confirm a camera was in stock, "We have two."
Received an email 2 days later, "Call to confirm order." It was to try and sell me addtional items only. Called back the next day for expedited shipping, "Sorry, too late, its already in the mail." My CC had been billed. A week later, I recieve an email to "Call about your order." and was told my camera wouldn't be in stock for another 3 days at which time I cancelled the order. Two days later I recieved an email that the purchase price refunded. A month later, while checking my CC staement, I noticed that it HAD NOT been refunded! Over a period of 3 weeks I was told four lies in 4 calls! Let the buyer beware! As of one month later, the camera is still not in stock, it has yet to be released by Panasonic. |

I don't think there is anyway I can put into words how overwhelmingly negative my experience was with this company. They are the reason that people fear buying over the internet.
They called me twice trying to upsell me. They changed my order. They changed my price. Of the two items I ordered, they sent me one, and it was wrong. They told me I was wrong and that I should want what they sent me. They told me I should have done my research and that they didn't even stock the item that they sent me. They didn't send me my other item at all. After days of calling/asking they told me it was on back order (even though they previously told me it shipped). They didn't want to return the wrong item or refund me for either when I wanted to cancel my order, telling me they couldn't because they would lose money. It took me a minute to write this, but it took hours of my time on the phone and weeks of waiting to get here and I still haven't gotten my refund. I beg you to buy from somewhere else - this the last company on the internet you shoudl be supporting. |

After searching for the best price for a 50inc plasma TV, I decided to place the order with FC.
The following day I received a call from FC confirming they received the order but in which they tried to sell me several items which obviously I was not interested otherwise I would have put them in my order (cables, warranty extension, shipping insurance, etc). After a few hours I received an email asking me to confirm the order but the total cost included an additional ~$90 for shipping insurance. I called back and asked for clarification and I was told that they cannot ship without insurance so I asked to cancel the order. Still today the website let you to place an order for something they cannot deliver, My conclusion: Website has wrong information and misleads customers. Stay away from FC |

Stay Away...you get an email to call back to confirm your order. Warning this is where they get you. They promised me 2 batteries $ fillter for $99. I declined and they finally lowered the price to $49. When i got a confirmation it only listed one battery. Classic Bait and Switch. This should be reported to the better business bureau. Then i called several times and the sales rep said i will fix it. I never received an email back. I then called back and they said they were out of stock of the extra batteries which is B.S. They could not give the 2 xtra batteries & filter for the price they gave! So they will just ship me the camcorder. I asked for a confirmation email and they said there's no need to. I'm scared to find out what i'm getting and how much they will be charging me. I'm sure I'll be calling back. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this site. |

Fotoconnection just wasted three days of my life by trying to sell me stuff I did not need or desire, holding up my order and constantly sending me emails to call in. I see a review below from 2002 that sounds very familiar to my horrible experience. You would think that seven years would result in some improvements. Oh, and when I asked to cancel my order three days ago, I was offered a free upgrade on one of the lenses I ordered, only to find out today that what I was offered will not be honored. These guys may have good prices, but be prepared to be solicited for additional items.

Outstanding from start to finish. Best price, Better Service. I would gladly and readily refer anyone to this company and to the product, a Samsung HDTV. Ordered on a Thursday and delivered to Chattanooga Tennessee on the next Monday. White Glove delivery topped off the experience. Using the online order form was efficient and easy to understand. Talked directly with a salesperson to add White Glove. We just could not believe how simple the entire process was for us. The quoted price was the charged price, and the price was by far the best we found of this particular unit. The Samsung HDTV picture is superb. The definity outstanding, sound is great and the images are spectacular.
The delivery agents were efficient, polite and very helpful with removing our old unit before installing the new TV. We are using a Home Theater, HDTV descrambler and Satellite Dish. All work great with this television. The installation manual is easy to follow and we are enjoying very vivid broadcasts of our favorite television programs. |

I am in the 'These people are either buffoons or criminals camp. I placed an order and they sent the 'you must comfirm/reply' email. I immediately was suspicious. I confirmed the order and was told that in 7-10 days i would have my items. After 13 days i called them and was told that they did not have the color i wanted and they could ship a different color in 5-7 days. I said fine. They then re-sent the confirmation email but after talking with them they told me my camera was no longer in stock and offered me a different item with less power, fewer features, etc.... Talk about a bait and switch!!!

Don't ever buy anything from them. I am, well i was a first time customer, buying the monster cable adapter, which shows on their website as in stock. Ok so I order it.....seems ok, hum dee dum get an email back saying they received my order.....ok. Then I wait about three days, I go to check my order status, doesn't tell me a dam thing just that my order was received. So now it is a week and a half later, I decide to call the number. Someone answers apparently it is a salesman, can't help me with my order, puts me on hold for customer service, on hold for about twenty minutes, gave up hung up. Wrote an email that their customer service was S##T!!. Well that got a response. Emailed me back saying their warehouse doesn't have that item. Alrighty then. Cancelled my order. I ordered a Canon Ring Flash from FotoConnection. I was surprised at the reasonable price and free one-day shipping option, and that the item was in stock and would ship in 24-48 hours. After placing the order, I received an email requesting that I call to confirm the order. At this time, I was asked if I wanted to buy an extra warranty, to which I answered No. He continued to ask about the warranty until I had to cut him off again and tell him I was not interested. No problems though, the order went through. 10 days later - no ring flash. I called customer service, and after being on hold for 10 minutes I was told that the item was out of stock. I cancelled the order immediately. I then asked if they had planned on notifying me that the item was not in stock. The customer service representative then hung up on me. DO NOT buy from them!
