Beware of product reviews. Their product reviews are questionable, in my opinion.  After submitting reviews for various hair products, styling tools, nail polish, etc., only one 5 star review was used. Mediocre or poor reviews were not included, even though there was nothing offensive about them. They censor reviews before posting - so those highly rated products - well maybe Folica just left out most of the less favorable reviews. When asking for help from their sales people, they don't know anything about the products and say "look at the reviews".  I bought a very highly rated (one of the top 10) flat irons and it stinks.  I returned one becuase it wasn't working and it was replace with only some difficulty.  This one works, but it feels cheap, and I didn't want the hassle and expense of returning, so I kept it.  I wrote a mediocre review and it was not included.  This flat iron has thousands of reviews - almost all 4 and 5 star.  That's because they probably leave out reviews like mine.

One of the big draws of the site is their review process - but it can't be trusted.  Buyer beware.

Customer service is not helpful, the product selection is good, and prices are good for some things and full retail for others.  Add in shipping and retail stores are usually better. Their shipping is about the same as any other online retailer.
