Wow. This started out as a good experience but it turned into a nightmare.
I ordered a package that included a racing scanner, two sets of headphones, and a splitter. It was 60% off and included free shipping.
I received the order, packaged in a Pampered Chef Pitcher box, two days later. All that was there was the scanner.
I called Customer Service, and the woman I spoke with was very polite, helpful, and apologetic. She said she's send me a pre-paid shipping label and ordered another for me.
The next shipment came in a Motorola Walkie Talkie box. Again, it contained only the scanner.
I called CS again, and explained the situation. The operator and her supervisor called back and forth to the warehouse and said that they would ship the headphones and splitter separately.
The next day, I received an e-mail containing two shipping return labels. I called CS to find out what was going on and the guy I spoke with said there was a mistake on the website and that there weren't supposed to be headphones included. He said that there was nothing he could do, despite the fact that I pointed out to him that this was false advertising and a clear example of the old bait-and-switch. He said that the description had been changed and all he said all he could do was to offer free shipping if I wanted to order headphones separately. I asked for a discount and he said that it is not their policy to offere discounts at ant time.
So I guess it was too good to be true. I'm very disappointed with their business style and ridiculous policies. I will NEVER shop FogDog again and I urge others to check arund before doing business with them as well.
