Would not recommend Finish Line to my worst enemy

I had ordered a pair of Nike Shox as a Christmas gift the end of Nov. 2008 online----I had no problem with the online ordering process, and I had the shoes at my door in a very reasonable amount of time. The problem with Finish Line is that they have a 45 day NO Return, No Exchange policy (of course I wasn't aware of this--- and one would think that there would be an extension on that policy during the holidays). I was shocked when I went to exchange the shoes in January at the Finish Line Store at Tri-County Mall in Cincinnati, Ohio and they wouldn't let me!!! Who doesn't let you exchange, regardless of the time frame (yes, I had my receipt, and that's when they said I was beyond the return and/or exchange date). Let me make it clear that I live 45 minutes from the nearest mall that has a Finish Line Store. Unreal!!! It was an exchange---I wasn't wanting a refund, and I even had the shoes I was going to exchange them for on the counter, and they cost more than the original ones---I called the customer service number right there in the mall, and they basically said "sorry about my luck"--the rules are the rules!!! They were going to give me the Nike customer service number and told me to call them and see if they would help with my situation???? I ordered the shoes from Finish Line---Nike shouldn't have to be responsible for their crazy policy!!! Beware of Finish Line!!! Definite thumbs down!!!
