The order was short one bolt that fastened the seat to the toilet. My plumber could not find one that fit in the store, so I called Designer Plumbing and was told I would have to contact the Kohler Co. I refused to do that because I felt I had received an incomplete order from them. The person then said I would have to return the entire seat via UPS, in the original box (which luckily I still had). UPS came severall days later with an address label and placed it on the box and took it away. I did receive another complete seat with proper number of bolts in about 5 days. I then had to call my plumber and have him make another house call to finish the job. Incidentally, I ordered 2 toilet seats to replace ones that were in this house we just bought. The other seat had proper amounts of bolts. These seats were 20 years old, so I was happy to be able to get them, although I found out later that Home Depot could have gotten them for me and I wouldn't have had to pay the $18.00 charge of postage and handling.

The sink delivered originally had a factory defect (did not seat evenly on counter surface). I contacted Designer Plumbing Outlet by phone, and they shipped a replacement sink promptly and without any hassle. Kohler's quality control was less than perfect, but Designer Plumbing performed admirably. And a special thanks to Bianca for her excellent customer service.

I found everything I wanted on the web site and prices were better than I could get locally, even with contractor's discounts. I placed two different orders, the first included 6 items (including a faucet, light fixture, robe hook, tissue holder, trip lever and towel ring) and the second 9 items (including 2 shower valves with trim, a thermostatic valve with trim, a rainshower head and mount, and a slide bar and wall elbow). I had both orders in my home in about 36 hours from when they received the order. I did receive one extra item that wasn't ordered (that I wasn't charged for) and by the next day they had sent me a UPS label to return the item. They seem to run a very efficient operation. I would definitely used them again.
