No Flowers For My Wife On Our Anniversary. FTD.COM failed miserably!

I ordered anniversary flowers from FTD.COM for my wife on 12/30/08 for delivery on 12/31/08 and they never arrived. I called at 4pm and 7pm on 12/31/08 to see what the problem was and was told "no problems they will be there". Well they weren't and aren't. Beware if you use FTD, don't be an uninformed consumer!
I'll be p i s s e d off for a while about their screw up!! It's 1/3/09 and still no refund. I have contested the charge with Paypal. WOW, what happened to the old FTD? UPDATE: They finally refunded my money and called my wife and apologized.

FTD has a satisfactory rating with the BBB, even with 1000's(yes 1000's) of registered BBB complaints. Yes, most have been resolved by refunding the money. The thing to remember is most of those complaints were about a flower delivery for a ONE TIME EVENT you can't get back! So, refunding the money or anything else does not fix the problem and "make it right"!. I have never seen a thing about FTD and their sloppy service in the media. Normally I check before I buy, but FTD? The problem is there are a lot of uninformed consumers doing the same thing I did when it comes to FTD.com!
