Horrible horrible service from FTD.com

Horrible horrible service. I ordered from their web site for same delivery for my wife (as the web site claimed) on Valentine's day. When the order was never delivered, I called in the evening to find out what happened. I got a pre-recorded voice mail from customer service that "due to holiday season we cannot respond, please use web site for customer service ". I left a message thru their web site to cancel the order. I received an email that order cannot be canceled as "order has already been processed ".

As my wedding anniversary date was near, so I called again to FTD customer service after a few days. I had to wait for around 10 minutes listening to music before I could get any customer service person on phone. They told that they would find out from local florist about what happened as per policy they cannot cancel or refund money without talking to the florist on status. They kept me on hold on phone and called florist. They got voice mail from florist. I requested to give update by phone and email by the end of the day. Obviously no update was received either by phone or by email.

I called again after two to three days. I was told about the same policy that FTD has to call local florist about status of order. When I told that this is second time I am calling, I was told that it is policy of FTD to try to contact three times to the florist before they can cancel/refund the order. This time they kept me on hold on phone to contact florist again. Call got disconnected from their end. I called in next five minutes. I explained the whole situation again and again customer service person again explained to me the same policy (even though I told that I have already heard that two times earlier). Finally she canceled the order and started process for refund.

If you could read till the end, you can imagine my frustration over order of flowers that I could get in ten to fifteen minutes from nearby local grocery store.
