shi tty product sold as New. Their customer serivce department is a joke, they have no phone number and takes days to respond to matters. Their shipping department is extremely slow. I received my product 3 weeks after I ordered, this is 21 days longer than stated upon order! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! |

BEWARE...customer service is unbelievable. I ordered a GPS system and opted for the 3-day shipping ($30+), since I needed the GPS for a trip on July 10. As I tracked the order, I realized I was not going to receive it in time. I contacted UPS early Thursday to inquire about meeting the driver to pick up my package since they do not deliver until 4:00 PM or later in my neighborhood. The UPS driver could not meet me because he had expedited packages that had to be delivered by 10:00 AM. UPS informed me that the Foto-Tronix shipment was GROUND...not air or expedited, so I had them return it to FOTO-TRONIX. I'm still trying to figure out what I paid extra for? Foto-Tronix is reimbursing the purchase price minus $60+ in shipping.
Following is the most recent email I received from them..."Please open a calendar and verify that the 4th was a holiday, the 5th was Saturday and 6th was Sunday. The order was sent out on the 7th, Monday and attempted to be delivered on the 10th." This has been an unbelievably BAD experience! |

Power cord did nor work, bought a new one in store. Contact with Garwin difficult and not worth the trouble. You referred me to the company, but I felt if I purchased the unit from a store they would have exchanged the power cord there and then, and not deal with the manufacturer. The problem was dealt with after one day of receipt.

I have not received my latet order as yet. It is still withing the 7 - 10 day period. This is my third order. The first two were very satisfactory and were delivered as advertized. I've had nothing to complain about thus far. The first time I tracked an order it was fairly simple (UPS) now it has become more complex in that they want you to sign up as some kind of member? I may be mis-reading the procedure but all they tell you is that your order as been received, the destination and the date they received it. In order to track it I interpret that you need to sign up as mentioned about which I am not that interested in doing.

I purchased a GPS system described as a Garmin Nuvi 680 (NEW). When I went to the Garmin web site to register the unit, it was already registered under another name. FOTOTRONIX had shipped a rebuilt unit. There are no phone numbers posted on the FOTOTRONIX web-site, so all correspondence must be by e-mail. When I contacted FOTOTRONIX, they told me Garmin reuses serial numbers. They must think their customers are some kind of idiots. (Seeing I bought from them they may be right) FOTOTRONIX appears to be a Delaware corporation operating from southern California (LaJolla area) I believe. Their highly guarded phone number is 858-206-0280. I will be contacting the States Attorney office and will post that number in the future.

My experience was poor with Foto Tronix. When I brought it to their attention that I had a problem with their planned shipping they refused to help me. I understood my price to include same day shipping (as advertised by them) and four days later it still hasn't shipped! I asked them to cancel my order due to their inability to ship on time and they said (this is their quote) they would "report me as a delinquent to all major credit bureaus" if I cancelled the order. They also told me if I cancelled the order they would (another quote) "respond harshly!" Wow. I ordered a week in advance and quickly figured out it did not ship in the time frame I understood it to ship. Not only did it not ship in time they made no attempt to help me even though they had plenty of time ship before Father's Day!!!! In my life I have never had such an ugly response from a retailer. Stay away!

It was great! All the local merchants were sold out of this model. It was what my son had his heart set on, so I feel fortunate that PC RUSH had it available. Even with overnight shipping, the cost was less than if I could have purchased it at a local merchant.

Two days after recieving the product, I decided to return it for a full refund. Since there is no way to contact the company by phone, I sent an email with my request. The response back was that they did not offer refunds,they instead gave me garmins 800 number,which I called and they told me I would have to return it where I bought it. So now i have a product that i don't want and i can't return.

Garmin 660 sold as NEW as advertised on their site and other listings is a referb... Arrived May 16 10 days after order placed.
I confirmed with Garmin The original sale date was in November of 2006!!! The N in the product number means REFERB and the white Factory box indicates REFERB... The Garmin box had a USPS sticker on it, and was stuffed in a USPS shipping box sent from NY.. They stated the Drop ship from Garmin???? Make sure you e-mail and confirm that it is not the White-Box Package, AND NEW No problem with the one I just bought, but "NEW" should have been New, as stated If I did not order as a gift, I would have returned it, as I wanted a NEW unit. They stated I could send it back(at my own expense) and they would check it out.. Another ten day wait... |

Like others I was hesitant to purchase from an unknown company, however it was a good experience overall.
I wanted to track my purchase online, but wasn't able to get the tracking system to work without making changes to my security and cookies settings so I opted not to track online.
I received a phone call from UPS stating that I had a package to be delivered that needed to be signed for and first delivery would be attempted the next day. It was 2 days before UPS made their first attempt (certainly not the fault of the merchant).
I'm pleased with my purchase.
