Ordered some ray-ban aviators & some clearance items. (Website made the closeouts look legit i.e. msrp $129.00 now only $29.00.) I got the close outs first & they were cheap Chinese junk. The kind w/temples that give you an instant headache. The kind that you could buy at any swap meet for 5 bucks. I mailed them back that day & cancelled the ray bans by hand writing it on the return form. They credited back my card minus 10 bucks postage.
Then I e-mailed them as well to cancel the aviators since I picked some up locally, but to my surprise a week later they sent some more (and charged my card $79.95) I mailed them back (at my expense) & it took about half a year to get them to acknowledge they received them (no response to numerous e-mails) I even had to get my credit card company involved to clear the charges. It wasn't worth the hassle of hours on the phone w/Visa to almost save 20 bucks on glasses. DO NOT DO BUSINESS W/THESE CROOKS! |

I ordered a pair of Maui Jim Shaka's from them on May 29, 2007. If I were to purchase them from store it would have cost me $38 more (tax included). I wanted to save some money so I ordered it from EyeSave.
After reading some reviews I became very concerned. I email them and let them know this. I received my Maui Jim's on June 7, 2007. It took 9 days but it was worth the wait. There customer service via email might not be the best, but I think they turned things around. The bottom line was I saved some money on some authentic Maui Jim's and I received them in a reasonable amount of time. I would use them again. |

I would recommend staying away from eyesave.com at all costs. I ordered a pair of sunglasses from them several months ago and didn't like the glasses--so I returned them. They wouldn't sign for my return package and it took a month to get back to me.

After purchasing my Maui Jim sunglasses online at eyesave for 30 dollars cheaper then any place else online I started wondering if I got ripped off. I read the reviews on epinions and began to get worried. But to my relief 3 days after I ordered, my sunglasses arrived just as advertised. I could not be happier and will recommend eyesave to all my friends. I will actually buy my wife a pair from eyesave as soon as she picks out a pair. I could not be happier with my purchase or my decision to use eyesave

I placed an order for Tom Ford's new sunglasses, Whitney, on Thursday and I received them that following Tuesday. I became concerned when I did not receive an email confirmation of my order so I called them and they gave me my order number and the tracking number. I read so many negative reviews about them after I had placed the order and I thought I had made a huge mistake by purchasing through them. But now I am so glad I did, they are a great company, I LOVE my sunglasses, and I paid almost $30.00 less than retail. I will definitely buy from them again.

I saw all of the negative feedback after I ordered my Maui Jim's Typhoons and it scared me. In fact it scared me so much I called them and was going to cancel the order.
I had a brief conversation with the girl that was working there and told her about my reservations and she explained that they had problems in the past with Ray Ban (Backorders) but it was not exclusive to Ray Ban. Anyway, To make a long story short I wound up letting the order stand and today I received my new Maui Jim's. I ordered them this past Monday so the shipping was fast and I got exactly what I ordered. All I can say is I had absolutely no problems with them and I hope that all of this negative feedback is not the result of some sort of vindictiveness as a result of a bad experience. I also must say that I hope Eyesave will continue to give customers the same service that I received. And no, I'm not an employee of Eyesave or affiliated in any way so don't even go there. |

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE CON ARTISTS! I ordered a pair of sunglasses and while they were in transit, they advertised a "special sale" which the glasses were $50.00 cheaper. eyesave would not make good on the credit when I called. I will never buy from them again. The sales lady was a C U next Tuesday. Buyer Beware!!!

Have any of you ever heard the expression "you get what you pay for."? I made the mistake and ordered from EyeSave.com once, once. (best Clint Eastwood voice) Not only did I never receive my product, after 6 months I had to request a charge back through my credit card company. After the EyeSave.com mess I decided to really shopped around and I checked out at least 10 different sites before making my choice. I did not choose because they were the cheapest instead I talked to other people that have ordered and made my decision that way. I found my experience to be very enjoyable and you can even talk to a human when you need to. The customer service is wonderful and the selection was great. I have a problem with a company that can afford to discount everything on their site. Is is like some Mr. Seconds store where all of the merchandise is somehow "irregular"? Oh, the site I finally went with is x-wear.com .

DO NOT ORDER FROM EYESAVE!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. They should be put out of business. BBB-PLEASE INVESTIGATE THEM. Any positive reviews are most probably fake and written by themselves. It sounds so commercial and fake too - "From now on, I will never pay retail." Anyway I ordered a pair of Bolles and some accessories a couple of weeks ago. I got a confirmation email with a #. I checked the site and order info/tracking tool. Nothing came up. I emailed them later on. Told them I live nearby, wheres my order already? Bust up those clowns in Crooklyn. They then said they already shipped it. I got a tracking # and checked again later, they just requested pick up from ups that afternoon. From the other reviews, I am one of the lucky ones. Hopefully, I'll actually get them this coming monday. Overall bad experience with Eyesave.com. Bad/non-existent service. Eyesave.com=Crooks.

A while back i bought a new pair or Ray bans that I really liked. I paid $145 for them and sat on them the next day. I looked the name and brand up online and after sifting through a ton of sites i found the same exact ones at Eyesave.com for over $30 less. I ordered them and received them in three days.
I have since told a few friends about these guys and none of them has had a bad experience. One of my friends got an even better deal than me when he bought his Bolle's when they were having a sale. From now on I don't plan on paying full retail for sunglasses. |

A friend of mine used to work for EyeSave.com, and I recently was shopping for a pair of sunglasses, so I decided to check out the reviews on here. My friend had warned me that the reviews would probably be bad, so I was surprised to see quite a few good ones. I passed this info on to my friend, and he decided to read them for himself. Wasn't I surprised when he told me that at least 10 of the good reviews were written by employees of the company and their friends!!!
He told me that when he worked there he was asked to write a good review himself, but never got around to it. But he was able to name a lot of the people who wrote good reviews based on their IDs. I realize that there are some reviews that are genuinely good, but how can any consumer expect to trust these people after they write fake reviews about themselves? I don't care if they are cheap and easy to order, there is no way I would deal with a company that stoops to this level. These people are not to be trusted!!! |

I ordered a pair of Costa del Mar sunglasses with glass lenses for my husband. I was sent plastic lenses. I was out the money to ship them back, and was told the glass lenses were no longer in stock. I am still waiting for a refund.
