The shopping experience consisted of looking at a web site and placing an order. I did receive confirmation of the order but did not receive notice of when the chairs were shipped. Shopping experience was average.

Order arrived quickly. Was securely packed. There were a few very minor scratches and blemishes in wood finish, but not due to inadequate packing materials - most likely just from handling from site of manufacturing (Thailand) to Home Styles warehouse (Indiana). I actually like the blemishes because I do not like things that look too new or too perfect due to the rustic design of my home. Instructions were not 100% accurate (sequence of bolts, spring washers, and flat washers) from a carpentry-design standpoint and should be revised.

The shopping experience itself was fine, good website, good description of merchandise, prompt delivery. The purchase itself was disappointing, as it required more than "some" assembly. It took 2 of us 4 hours to assemble it, and it wasn't easy. Some of the machining of parts was bad, making it difficult to get together. The quality of the bench is fine, but it should be described as "LOTS of assembly required."

I wanted to order the item earlier because there was free shipping - but couldn't reach the merchant - when I did finally reach them I now have to pay the shipping cost of $460.00 - I am disputing this issue now and that will determine if I use them again.

Assembly instructions poor. Manufacturing quality poor in that wood dowels were to small for the drilled hole. This caused assembled product to "wobble". I had to dis-assemble and re-assemble using industrial strength glue. This fixed the concern. Manufacturing of parts is sloppy and poor.

The website was easy to use, the items were clearly described. Pricing appeared very straight forward - with no hidden "shipping and handling" charges. However, it has been more than a week since I ordered the piece, and there has been no update from them regarding shipping. No tracking number, no e-mail indicating the item has shipped - but my credit card was charged the day the order was placed!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased a Classic Flame Oak Fireplace, the order shipped about 2 weeks AHEAD of schedule which was fantastic, tracking was excellent. The only complaint that I have is the mantel of the fireplace has a flaw in the finish, I will have to call EF today to try and resolve, we'll see how that goes. Otherwise, so far, I liked the service and other than the flaw in the finish I love the fireplace. Glad I ordered it.

Very good product and service!  The butcher-block kitchen island, a real deal at $199, was better than the photo online, and the delivery was very fast.  Also, because of a computer glitch, 3 were ordered instead of one, but when I intercepted Fedex and sent the other 2 back unopened, I was promptly credited for the extra charges, and they waived the return charge and restocking fee.

There were a number of on-line furniture stores; I chose this one. Wrong. Phone calls not returned, emails unanswered. Compare them to the excellent tretment @ Cymax stores - Duh! Too bad that Cyber Max didn't carry this item.

because i have a gated entry i requested a tracking number,i did'nt receive one and the package arrived and was left at the gate. Anyone could have taken it.

Expecting to receive my order within two weeks of ordering on March 1st, and the merchant charging my credit card, I called during the third week. I was informed that it was backordered until the middle of April. When I had not received the merchandise by the end of April, I called again. The order had been shipped that day. Ten days later, I received my order minus one bed. I waited another week to call because I thought it would arrive. After not receiving the bed, I reported it to Everything Furniture, and two days later it was declared "lost". A second bed was ordered. That bed made it all the way to Palm Springs, according to the FedEx Tracking. It was then returned to the shipper because of damage. It took two weeks, nonreponsive phone calls and two very angry messages to get it across that I wanted satisfaction. I then had to go to an alternative plan, and ordered a set of matching beds from another company. I cancelled the bed order and requested that it be replaced with a dresser. As I could not get them to agree to credit my account for an entire bedroom set. I am still waiting for the dresser. Carolyn Mead

Website was inconvenient and required three attempts to pay by credit card. Site kept asking for payment thru Paypal. Site said hope chest was, "back ordered until June". Order was placed June 3. I have received no shipping information, nor an expected date of shipping to date (6/10). I plan to give them one more week and then call. I would have withheld rating as my disatisfaction was with the website, not necessarily with the product or service. Yet! Your survey forced a rating, therefore the fair rating.

The item I ordered was no longer available but the service that I received from Everything Furniture was excellent. They contacted me to let me know of the additional cost due to duty, followed up with a phone call when they discovered that the item was not available. Great customer service!
