I ordered a generator over two weeks ago that cost over $2000.00. I can ubderstand that business is brisk at this time of year. My problem is being left in the dark :) concerning my order. When I called I was told that as soon as they hear from the manufacturer I would be notified. My question is can't someone call the manufacturer and get an approximate date of shipping.

First generator shipped to me had a factory defect. I thank Cory in service for his prompt assistance in replacing the faulty Yamaha generator with a replacement. Even with the factory defective generator I first received it turned out to be a pleasure-able experience with the knowledge that they are an Internet company that stands behind what they sell. In trying to find out the progress of the shipment, it is impossible on their websight. The standard answer seems to be it is in the Manufactureres hands. They should have a better way of tracking an order and letting the customer know the length of time it will reach them. My understanding was ten to fourteen days, but that has passed.

Delivery was poor. I was told a window time and ended up waiting all day for the delivery. The price was advertise as free ship but then they tell you that you need two people present for the delivery or pay $75.00 for a lift delivery, which I figured out that the truck would have had a lift anyway. So no I would recommend this service to anyone.

Need to improve the shipment tracking information. Instead of relying on the customer to retreive the order details to obtain tracking info, provide that automatically as you do the status. In my case, Estes Express was the shipper and they don't provide tracking in the same way as do UPS/FedEx/DHL.

All went OK, but wheel kit did not get delivered at the time on the gen. Called the Co. & they said they will have it shipped ASAP. Have to wait & see!! Other than this small error, all was good. Alex Anderson

Couldn't get a person on the customer service line when I called, but they did call back. Pretty good experience so far, but haven't hooked the switch up yet. Can't say how pleased I am with the item until I see it operate. Box had a small hole punched in the fron of the box, hope it didn't hurt anything.

I have not received the product I purchased yet. The merchant has informed me that the product has been ordered from the manufacturer but not yet shipped. I would use this merchant again assuming that I receive the product in a reasonable amount of time and it is the product ordered. The website is very good and the merchant returned my inquiries promptly. The order tracking is ambiguous - it just states "processing" to indicate the order has been placed.

I recevied my generator, prepared it to use, started right up, but no AC Voltage. None of the receptacles work. I emailed last night on who to contact about my problem but of yet have not had any reply. I don't know if I will take to a local service tech center, or ship back to Briggs & Stratton, or what I am supposed to do at this juncture.

I had a hard time getting the Generator. The trucking co. called and said they would be at my home on Fri 12-5pm, they never showed up. On Sat I drove an hour away to the trucking company to pick it up. I could not take another day off of work and hope they would show next time.
