I shopped around for a generator and none of the main stores had it available. After two major ice storms in the midwest - everyone had sold out of the Guardian 15KW that I wanted. Everyone except Electric Generators Direct. They had it in stock and made sure to get everything I needed to complete the order in 15 minutes.

I ordered the unit on a Wednesday and it was delivered, assembled, and tested by Friday. The service was quick, helpful and the product arrived fresh from the factory ready to go.

I received the Generator with minor damage. I had an expert try to put the system together and he was not impressed. I could have used more information on its use and safety. I sent and email to the company yesterday and so far have had no reply.

Due to a massive power outage in teh Chicago area, I needed a generator ASAP. Local dealers were sold out, but this on-line distributor had inventory, and allowed me to pick up the product at their warehouse, which happened to be in the Chicago area. I was very satisfied with their service.

There were huge storms and basements flooded all over the Chicago area. We had 5" of water in our finished basement and no electricity. The power company said it might be 72 hours. Ann located a generator for us and arranged for the Bolingbrook store to hold for pickup till 7PM (they close at 5PM). We are 2 hours away. We rushed down through storms and 5 o'clock Friday traffic across Chicago and arrived at about 6:15. All was as promised, we picked up the generator and went back to Northbrook... where the power had come back on and the sump had cleared most of the water. NEVER-THE-LESS EGD did a great job and really took and interest in our emergency order. Thanks to everyone there, especially Ann. Her phone had been ringing off the hook all day and she still managed to follow through beautifully. I wouldn't imagine better service anywhere.

My husband and I were shopping for a generator and found Electric Generators Direct Online. We ordered a generator, got a discount for paying by check, and got exactly what we ordered. I'm very happy with the experience except that the shipping was slightly slow, I had to e-mail to find out why, and the shipping company delayed delivery from Friday to Monday. Otherwise, the price was great, customer service was quick, and the product is excellent. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Completely satisfactory. I would recommend the vendor to friends. Oh, one surprise about the price, though - after I selected the product and before I could order, the vendor did change the price: they *lowered* it by fifty bucks. My purchase of a generator through Electric Generator Direct Online was a very good experience.

The price was much better than I found anywhere else, and the service was great.

I ordered at noon on Thursday, and I received the generator at 8 AM on Friday... Fast service doesn't get any better than that...

It was very easy to place the order on their web page, and they had a great selection of generators to choose from.

The online shopping experience was very easy. I received very good updates on my purchase with the tracking number. The only glitch with my purchase was the hand-off to a local trucking company; somehow a phone number for me was not included with the delivery information. So, I received the generator a couple days beyond the expected delivery date. But, the purchase experience was positive; I would certainly purchase from them again.
