Horrible customer service. No response to emails or inquiries about product shipment. Will not shop again. Compared to other online merchants, such as Amazon, Target etc. these guys (and gamestop.com - which is the same company, different name) seem like amateurs.

extremely fast shipping, very polite on the phone. orders have been accurate with the exception of their "exclusive offers". did not receive my early entry code on a pre-order and now i paid 1 day shipping for nothing. cs flaked on me twice on this issue and have flaked on me before on another.

I had the worst experience at one of their stores. I bought a used PSP for my brother, I was told it was refurbished, it wasn't. I was made to buy additional insurance, which they did not honor. I called their customer service and it took management 1 week to call me back, when they finally did the woman on the phone was rude, and made it seem like it was my fault. I was not the one who lied about what the PSP was worth!!!!

LIARS...deceptive and rude!!!!NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Customer service of ebgames.com and EB electronics at Valley Fair, San Jose are the worst. I called customer service at ebgames and confirms that I can return unopened console and games ordered online to the Valley Fair store in San Jose. When I came to the Valley Fair store, I was told that the district manager, Mike, instructs to not take back the online order. I then called the customer service at ebgames.com and again confirmed that I can return to Valley Fair. Long story short, the manager at Valley Fair won't take back the merchandise and I was promised by the customer service manager, David, from ebgames.com that I will receive an email to get the shipping label. So far, I have not received anything from ebgames.com and I still cannot return the merchandise. BTW, ebgames policy states that you can return the merchandise at the store.

EBGames is the BEST place in town to buy slightly used games. We have Nintendo, Xbox, Xbox360, Play Station 1 & 2 and we are always able to find games for these games. The new games are WAY too expensive and if you just wait a little bit they are ALWAYS available at EBGames!

Not only games but also other things as and when order through internet the buyers could not easily purchase as always insist for credit card etc which all people do not have also the remote location have no such facilities for which most have fail to purchase the goods as required. If cash on delivery could be arrange like vpp that will be better. Also some time the goods sent are not upto mark as order in original.

I feel EB Games are a bunch of thieves! I purchased an Xbox 360 with an extended warranty. After 1 month the game had problems (no fault of EB Games) and when I returned it for an exchange, they complied with the warranty, but told me after using it once the warranty was now void and I needed to purchase a new one for $40. This was an extended warranty, not an exchange fee! If I bought a new car and the tail light went out, the dealership wouldn't tell me the 50k mile warranty was now void.
EB Games are THIEVES!! Don't risk your hard earned money there. Buy anywhere else.

It took 4 phone calls and at least 6 emails to get the order processed and shipped.

They suck. Poor service and poor selection. They conned an aged relative of mine out of $40 for a gift card they falsely claimed could be used at their local stores and online. Turns out that despite the card saying it can be used online it can't. I wanted a new release that their poorly stocked and overpriced local shops did not carry. I tried to use the card online. No luck. Called customer service and was told basically "sorry sucker, we merged with some other company so we don't have to honor it." You can't get a refund either. Pretty rude attitude overall. They still sell the same cards in their local stores false label and all. What a Ripoff!

EBgames (Electonics Boutique) is a great video game store. They have everything from NES games to the jaw-dropping Xbox 360. I have used both EBGames stores and EGBames.com to buy N64 games, PS2 games, as well as Xbox 360 games (I was one of the lucky few to get one). I have purchased many of their pre-played games, and every single one has worked like new. the disks rarely EVER even have a single scratch on them (the used ones... the new ones obviously are NEW).

My first purchase at ebgames.com was excellent. They have very competitive prices compared with other online retailers (especially gamestop), and I decided to choose ebgames. I brought a pre-played game, and it came on time (saver shipping). The game was like new. They even decided to give me a new case, with the cover and booklet. The game did not have any scratches. I certainly recommend ebgames, to those reluctant to other online retailers.

I recommend this store to anyone looking for video games or video game hardware. They sell both used and new games, and are a great deal. The staff is knowledgeable without speaking in hard-core gamer's lingo. I have purchased hardware and games from both on-line and brick-n-mortar EB Games stores.

My experience at this website was extremely easy.

I bought Strike Force Bowling for GameCube. The price was about 15 bucks, not bad. Throw in Shipping (EB Saver 5-10 Business Days, $1.99) And Tax..All for about 18 bucks. I placed my order on a Wed, Shipped Thurs. And it arrived on Tue. (they don't ship on weekends). It was in one of those padded envelopes. Came with game, return slip, and coupon. The game works fine......fun game! Overall, this gamer says....this is a extremely good website to purchase video games!

I have ordered several things from EBgames.com and for the most part I was satisfied. The pricing is very reasonable and so is the shipping. They delivered on time and got my order right. The only complaint that I have about them is that two of the items I ordered were damaged to the point that they would not play in my Playstation. But when I needed to exchange those things customer service was very helpful.

I have ordered several items from EBgames.com and so far love their service. They ship the order super fast and accurately unless a mistake on the part of the user has been made. In the one case where the order was late, they contacted me and apologized. I have only had one experience with their customer service which was pleasant, helpful, and friendly. They even accepted an opened game I returned and gave back a full refund.

Ebgames is the worst website ever. The "E" in EB stands for ERROR all the time. The only time you can look at something is when you are buying something. I'm on a T-1 line, and every time I try to look at something that has to do with contacting EB, looking at my order, or looking at my account, I keep getting the ERROR PAGE. My friends also experience the same thing. Another thing I hate about EB is that they lie. They say they do not charge you until they ship your game. I ordered the new Leisure Suit Larry game and they charged me in a week in advanced and they did not even send me a shipping conformation. Now I have a withdrawal fee because of them charging me too early. THANKS EB.

This isn't really a review just my opinion. The games you have up for sale, used or not used, you should at least say what it comes with! I ordered a game and I was aware it was used but the photo you had gave me the impression that the game came with the front cover manual and I received it without one! I don't think that was fare because I was unaware of this. You should be clearer about your games you have up.

The Shipping was very fast and on time by the way. I don't recommend it unless you know what you are doing because I got a big shock from my experience. I expected the full game but only received the CD and an old banged up case.

Though your site advertizes free shipping from EB games, I was not given that choice. After going through the whole registration process at the end it forced me to choose a shipping method. There was no "free" choice!

I think EB Games is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!!!! EB Games has just about everything I always want! I used to like Funco Land until Game Stop bought them out, and then there was now where to go anymore. I think Game Stop is Generic! I love EB Games sooooo much. They have great service, average prices(sometimes), and the best selection I've ever seen! Over any game store out there, I would always recommend EB Games forever and always!

Great Prices, Free Shipping, Large Selection.

EBgames.com is everything the mall chain should have. Anyone who has been into an EB store knows they are small, overpriced, and the workers there know nothing about the games they are trying to sell. Infact my guess is they never even heard of a Sega Master System let alone a NES.

I was looking for a good place online to buy 'Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town' for GameBoy Advance. No store in the aera had it in stock. I decided I'd try EBgames.com just because they specialize in games.

I easily ordered the game and got it via FedEx 3 days later. This pleased me enough to buy another game from them.

I ordered a pre-owned copy of 'Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance' for XBOX and choose the free shipping. The free shipping is supposed to take 6-12 days. However I had the game in 4.

I now have a pre-order for 'Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes' which should ship any day now.

All in all EBgames.com is a great service. The website is everything the real store should be.
