I recently purchased a set of wheels and tires for my Toyota Celica from Discount Tire Direct and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great deal on tires or wheels.

I first found out about this company from an epinions review and went to their website to see what they had. I found the web site to be very informative, easily navigated, and generally a very nicely done site. The only complaint would be that it is a little slow to load on a dial-up connection, but that is understandable given the number of images that must be displayed. Without the pictures of the various wheels the prospective customer would have to do further searching to determine which wheels he or she wanted so the time it takes to load the page is worth the wait.

One aspect of Discount Tire Direct's website that is of particular value to the average consumer is that you do not have to know exactly what size tires you need, the rim width, diameter, or anything else. All you need to know is the year, make, and model of your vehicle and Discount Tire Direct will take care of the details. The factory tire and wheel size will be shown, along with optional sizes that you may choose from that will still fit your vehicle. No more guessing about whether or not the tire/wheel combo you like will fit. The selection is very good too, with tires and wheels to fit any budget.

Speaking of tire and wheel combos, if you purchase tires and wheels at the same time, these will be mounted and balanced free of charge. They will be shipped to your door ready to put on the car. This is a big convenience, and a money saver too!

Another money saver is the free shipping they offer. I checked some other online stores and found some that offered slightly lower prices on tires, but when the shipping costs were added they were substantially higher than Discount Tire Direct. The shipping is via Fed-Ex ground and in my case I placed an order on Monday evening and the tires and wheels were delivered on Thursday. Needless to say I was pleased with the speed with which my order arrived.
