The experience was great. This was the first time I have ordered furntirue on line and was very worried but everything turned out great. The table was exactly like the pictures and everything arrived in great shape and the delivery men put everything together and removed all the packing material. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Have not received my item yet. The merchant isn't the problem the delivery service is. The trucking company called and said they would call back on a Monday, August 25 to set up delivery for that Tuesday through Thursday. I didn't hear from them so I called on Friday and she said the truck wouldn't be back in town for two weeks and she would call to make arrangements on Monday, Sept 8. She apologized for the error and was pleasant, but yes it irritates me. I am just glad it wasn't an item that I needed for a specific time. Hopefully, the item is in good condition when received, I know it has already been charged to my account.

The chairs are a perfect match to the table I already have- very sturdy & comfortable..... there was a part of the chairs missing (bottom rung)and I called right away - the Customer Service Rep, Gareth, was excellent. He e-mailed me back as soon as he knew the status of my missing chair parts and the pieces arrived 2 weeks earlier than he predicted- a very pleasant shopping experience.......Judy

Everything about the company was good. The table came with a crack that came through to the top of the table at one of the brackets that hold the drop leaf. It was too much hassel to box it up and return it. For $189, we will get some utility out of the table and will buy another one in a few years. I was able to repair the table so that it would function, but could not make the crack bond together. Also, the screws, nuts, and washers were loose in the entire box. I had to hunt and search for all of the parts. Must not have been put in a bag at the factory or the bag broke open.

Prices: Great price. Selection: Great selection. However... The table was totally "mutulated" and it has taken a long time to have it replace. (As of today (1 August 2008, I have not receive the table). I received the 8 chairs. Customer support: excellent.. they kept in contact and they were very supportive and helpful.

I placed an order for 4 dining room chairs. Within a short time, I received an email stating that they had just exhausted their supply and the chairs were on backorder, expected in about 3 months. So far I haven't cancelled the order, but if I find other chairs in the meantime I'll buy them and cancel the Dining Rooms Direct order because I need the chairs soon.

Dinette table and chairs I purchased were excellent quality and arrived quickly in perfect condition. There was free shipping on my purchase, that's what prompted me to tryout buying furniture online from this seller. The merchandise selection was very good and the customer reviews were very helpful. It was easy shopping at DRD but the delivery was a disaster. I spent half a day waiting for nothing and that is not right. The dispatcher called to arrange delivery but the driver never showed on the day. I left messages that were never returned. They finaly delivered without a phone call and I wonder what would have happened if I had not been home to receive it. I'm disappointed and will not be buying from DRD again.

One of the chairs came in with the pad unattached. Two of the chairs were missing the bottom floor protector tabs and the chairs that had the tabs on them were horrible. They were either nailed or screwed on with the edges of the screws not flush which would ruin a hardwood floor.

The first carrier got my table to WV in about four days. The second carrier kept my table for a full week before delivery. The table packaging was damaged and the table had a large scuff mark but customer service sent a scratch cover pen that covered it well.

The shopping experience was good. And the product was received sooner than expected. My only complaint was the poor assembly directions with the product. The product was difficult to assemble and the shelf was not deep enough to hold a microwave. With a few modifications I am able to use the rack for the purpose that it was purchased.

I received the table/top in a timely manner. The table matches my bar stools perfectly, but the glass top was shattered and the metal table was dented. I have never seen anything packed so poorly. I ordered a table from Sears before ordering from dining rooms direct (it looked great on-line, but unfortunately did not match may bar stools, so I had to send it back). It was packed so well you would have had to run over it with a truck to damage it. The people I delt with at dining rooms direct were helpful and polite, but I had to prove what kind of condition the table was in. They are sending me another table and top. If this one is damaged, I will never shop with Dining Rooms Direct again, and I will make sure no one I know ever shops with you either.

My table is nicer than I expected it to be and it is in perfect condition. My table was delivered actually days earlier than ground service normally is. I was pleasently surprised. I wish I could find a sideboard or cabinet in this same finish and style. I will continue to look for this item.

CHAIRS CAME MORE QUICKLY THAN EXPECTED. THEY WERE ASSEMBLED AND I APPRECIATED NOT PAYING SHIPPING. THEY ARE ATTRACTIVE AND FIT IN WELL WITH MY EXISTING CHAIRS. GOOD PRICES.
