We've shopped in Dick's Sporting Goods stores before, but recently had the opportunity to shop at their on-line store. We were searching for new soccer shin guards for our 5 year old daughter - something that's harder to find in her size in our area.

My husband found a great offer through Upromise and we were able to purchase her a pair of pink XS adidas shin guards shipped to our house for $5.64! 

The site was easy to navigate and all we needed to do was type the product we needed into the search box.  Immediately the shin guards we wanted were in stock.  Check out was a breeze, with typically needed information such as name, address, shipping and billing information, and credit card information. 

After ordering we immediately received an "Order Received" email from Dick's with our order.  The email was well formatted, easy to read, and had the product picture and link in the email.  24 hours later we received a follow up email with an "Order Confirmation" email, very similar to the previous one.  Two days after that (so 3 days after the order) we received another email titled "Shipping Confirmation".  It stated the package was on its way, shipped UPS Ground, and provided a clickable link with tracking information. The tracking link was easy to use and kept us up to date about the package. It arrived 2 days after that email, so a total of 6 days from the order to our doorstep. 

Though we don't need the soccer shin guards for another week, we were pleased to have the order arrive so quickly and the process go smoothly.  Dick's certainly likes to be in communication with its customers - this morning (the package arrived last night) in my email I received an email thanking us for our purchase at Dick's and a 10% off our next order coupon.  I think Dick's provided an excellent price and deal for what we needed, shipped out and delivered quickly, and kept us up to date on our order throughout.  We would order from Dick's Sporting Goods Online store again.
