PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POOR CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT

DICKS NAME SAYS IT ALL --- ! THEY HAVE THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. FIRST THEIR WEB SITE PRICE WAS INCORRECT AND THEY WOULD NOT HONOR IT. THEY TOLD ME THEY HAVE A DISCLAIMER ON THEIR SITE. OK, I UNDERSTAND, EVEN THOUGHT I FELT THEY SHOULD...THEY DID OFFER 20% OFF, BUT, TOLD ME THEY DID NOT HAVE THE ITEM I WANTED IN STOCK AND DID NOT KNOW WHEN THEY COULD EXPECT IT. I OFFERED TO UPGRADE AND PAY MORE FOR ANOTHER MODEL, BUT, THEN THEY TOLD ME I COULD NOT HAVE THE DISCOUNT. I WAS STUCK BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE. I COULD HAVE 20% OFF OF AN ITEM THEY MISREPRESENTED ON THEIR WEBSITE, THEN, I COULDN'T GET IT ANYWAY. I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH THEM FOR A TOTAL OF 4 HOURS, WITH HOLDING AS THE MAIN FUNCTION AS THEY KEPT GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH MANAGERS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE. THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH A RETAIL OUTFIT. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM WHEN THERE ARE OTHER COMPANIES WHO STAND BEHIND THEIR WORDS AND TRY TO OFFER GOOD SERVICE. I WILL ALSO SPREAD THE WORD IN DAILY CONVERSATION TO EVERYONE I SPEAK TO.
