no order tracking was provided. Very poor communications. The order was suppose to ship in 2 days, and I received it on time. However, the e-mail from Dell only stated that it shipped, with a 4 DAY delivery "estimate". I chose 2 day, as I can't just wait around for packages. Their e-mail should have been accurate, and included the proper delivery date.

Dell provided the lowest price I could find for this item, plus free 3-5 day shipping (I actually received the itm in 2 days, shipped on Tuesday, received on Thursday. No problems whatsoever. I don't think you could get any better service.

Awful customer service.
Minor problems around applying a valid online coupon.
Big problems about order/instock status. The day after order was placed got a message on my answering machine that it was back-ordered and would not arrive for another 3-4 weeks. I called Dell the next day to cancel the order which I seemed to be able to do without issue. I bought the same product from another bricks-and-morter merchant the next day. Two days later, my "canceled" Dell item showed up. They then offered me a small discount on my paid price to keep the item. Since I did not need two of these, this was of no value to me.

Several months ago I tried to make this same purchase and was told there was a problem and to contact my credit card company. I did and they advised there was no issue w/ my card. However the customer service reps weren't able to understand that and kept telling me to "contact my credit card company." So, I went to Staples and bought the ink there, w/ my credit card. This time there was no problem at Dell.

Dell shows little concern for loyal customers who purchase tens of thousands of dollars of their products over multiple years. Three days after I placed my order, this exact model went on sale for $80.00 less. The customer service rep informed me that since my order had already been processed, I would not be eligible for the discount. Has dell never heard of adjustments/credits to customers' accounts? I found what I needed with their support at the Dell site, ordered it, recieved a confirmation by email, recieved shipping in fo by email and recieved it the next day as promised. Installed it in my laptop in minutes and the product worked perfectly. The price was comparable to other sites but not being much more than a novice, I found compatible memory for my laptop, it was shipped free, arrived as promised, and worked as promised. would definitely recommend them to friends with a Dell or considering a Dell.

When you request my address I tried to also list my mailing address which is a P. O. Box. I also had my street address. At one time this was sent to the post office so I like to put both down, If something is sent to post office without the box number it will be returned. You refused to accept the order with both. There are two lines for the address so why do you refuse when it is listed?
