Excellent shopping experience. Merchandise was received in great condition and the time from order and purchase to delivery was quick. Minor problem with the monitor being fuzzy, but online help to fix the problem was very simple and did not take long at all. No other problems noted.

I ordered from the internet and they contacted me to tell me my debit card wouldn't go through. I contacted the bank and then talked to sales rep and it was taken care of immediatly. Very good service. Received it in good shape and on time!!

I tried to purchase a computer on line. The charges were made to the wrong account. When I realized this I tried to correct it I was stonewalled for three days. Customer service would do nothing for me and wouldn't tell me who I needed to talk to. The order was finally cancelled and I was promised a refund in two days. It has been five days and still no refund. I was very anxious to buy a new computer so I called in my order. The order was handled quickly and efficiently by a native born American with an Italian last name, not someone at a help desk in New Delhi. It seems when Dell wants to get my money I can deal someone that is very capable and understands what I am trying to do. Once they have my money all I deserve is a help desk in India. I appreciate the people at he help centers speak very good English and are bilingual they don't understand in English...yet.

Dell's website is extremely slow to load and the checkout process is confusing. The wrong quantity was generated and I had to go back and fix it. I was unable to check accurately on my order even though I followed the website directions. According to the website, only part of my order was shipped. But when I received it, everything was there. The whole process was just confusing and difficult.

Incorrect technical information was given by sales people and when I had to return two items for refunds only one item return was credited to my account. You need better people working for you.

I'm sure they're swamped with orders right now, because of the release of Windows 7. My computer isn't due to arrive until November 12th or 13th. Of course, I'd love to have it sooner, but I understood when I ordered it that it would take longer than usual. I wish the Dell website had better order processing and tracking. They shipped my mouse and external drive without providing a tracking number. If I'd needed to sign for it, I wouldn't have known when it would arrive. Thankfully UPS left it on my front steps. I also wish I could monitor the progress of my order better, and I hope that they provide tracking info when they ship my computer so that I can be sure to be home to sign for it.

Purchase on the net should be easy. My password, and I use few did not work. So I tried to use phone. Phone system would not take order. Tried to re register, would not let me. Purchased as a guest, finally got order through. Little explanation on difference in products. Took over an hour to order. Ridiculous

The automatic "order ink when you get a notice from your Dell printer" feature does not work. Each time I've attempted to order in this manner the order appears to go through but is never shown as "received". I always must login to my Dell account and then hunt for the ink offerings that I prefer. Occasionally even this method does not "go through" to a completed order. Once an order actually gets accepted, however, Dell ahs been prompt about shipping and receiving my order in a timely fashion.

The monitor stand I purchased did not fit the docking station I had already purchased. When I tried to get authorization to return the purchase I was sent on a wild goose chase. It is bad enough you have togo through all the prompts, you finally get a live person and you get switched to 5 different people and finally get hung up on. I purchased this item for the business I work for, if I treated my customer in this manner I would get written up and the ratings of our company would go down. although each person I spoke to was respectful they didn't seem to know who did what in your company. I finally figured out the problem myself and orderd the extra piece I needed so the monitor would fit the docking station. This is the second time I tried to buy an item for a Dell laptop. My personal laptop has a generick docking station which did not really fit my laptop. If you are going to sell laptops I would think you would be sure to have the equipment to match it. Would I personally buy from Dell I am not sure anymore. In the past I have purchased 4 desktops and 1 laptop. Recently when I was looking for an upgrade I went to an Hewlett Packard.

my only problem was that-the paper alignment was off, but I checked the removal of sticky tape three times and it seemed to be ok, but stated alignment was still wrong. I;m just going to live with that-no big deal

Though the purchase and merchandise were as expected, working with their technical support was absolutely horrendous! The first time I called I was transferred four times and gave up when they said they had to transfer me again to get to a technician in the proper section. The second time I had to argue with the technician to explain that I knew my system warranty was expired and was calling because of difficulty in getting the system to recognize the new board. I was only after I told them to forget it and I would return the part to Dell and demand a refund did they agree to help me get my system to access their own memory board. Though their systems are good, I will never buy another Dell because of the hassle and non-user friendly phone system and technical support. And I have gone back to my work and have recommended that we no longer purchase any Dell equipment for either ourselves or our customers and/or products.

On the Dell page for merchandise checkout--there is no seperate box or area for using the Dell Card. It is lumped together with apply for credit--which if a person already has the card they would not check this box. So please add a seperate box for the Dell card purchases. Thank you.Other than above clitch the experience was very nice.

Order tracking could be more detailed. "In production" doesn't say much. I'm sure the progress through assembly, testing, and boxing is tracked on your computers -- why not share the information with the buyeer? I did speak with one sales rep who was very helpful. Unfortunately, when I ordered I couldn't find any place on the shopping cart to give her credit for excellent assistance. You should want that information as an additional part of an employee review program.
